Kyungsoo frantically looked around, but She couldn't find anyone. It was a lonely street, time well past midnight, too late for anyone to be out.
She strained her eyes in the darkness to see as far as She could, in all possible directions hoping to find the source, see if there was a human who needed emotional comfort at this hour. Sadly, She couldn't.
She decided to walk in a particular direction with the hopes to trace its source. As she took a few steps, the intensity of the noise receded.
Well, That means the source is in the opposite direction.
She changed her direction and intensity increased - albeit momentarily. She couldn't let the night go in vain. She walked and walked.
However, one should expect after so much walking to at least notice a further increase in the intensity. But alas, The level of the noise
remained the same.
Kyungsoo had almost covered half a kilometer in it's pursuit and it refused to go away. And again, No sign of anybody. She was totally dumbfounded and her sanity was slipping out of her hands slowly.
She realized that she had come too far from the hotel and it was time for her to return. She started walking back towards Chanyeol's car that was parked near the hotel, but the noise refusing to go away. Besides, She had this weird feeling that the noise was
following her....
But that's impossible since there she couldn't see anyone around. By now, She had convinced herself that it was all in her head.

It is because the paranoid hasn't left her yet that her mind had made up the noise.
Who would come to a lonely cold street at midnight and cry through their sorrows, especially since there weren't any dwellings at least thirty kilometers from here.
As she reached near the car, she heard a ruffling sound near the side trees.
'So there is someone there' she mentally informed herself.
Kyungsoo's been only around 20 steps away from the trees. She was in two thoughts. either go to the source, see who is sobbing and then help them out through their problem or return back to Chanyeol's car. All sorts of thoughts began running through her mind.
'What if its a woman who has run away from her drunk husband and apathetic in laws? What would I say to her? What if it was a child? Lost and away from home?'
Putting these thoughts all aside, her heart skipped a beat at the realization that the noise followed her all the way and came back with her. If it was someone absorbed in their own sorrows why would they follow Kyungsoo? Maybe because they wanted to talk to her but couldn't gather courage? Who knows? It also might be a
