Not wanting to sit around any longer because we were all cramped up from sitting as it was, we headed up the stairs to our room which by the way was called the Graceland suite.

Never laying my eye's upon Graceland I wasn't sure walking in. I saw a lot of blue and white. In pictures I recalled Graceland was red and white. However walking in to the Graceland suite was like deja vu. It was like walking into our front door at home. I looked at my mother, my facial expression questioning.

"Why does this look like our living room? The only thing missing mom is the piano and the colors."

"Odd don't you think?" She replied, smiling.

"I would say so mother did you take tips from Graceland?"

"No not really that just happens to be our taste daddy picked a lot of the living room furniture and the colors we both like." She quickly changed the subject, trying to avoid going any further on the topic, "OK guy's so here we are and it's 3:00 so my question is what would you like to do?"

My mother asked in unison we said "Beale st."

"OK", she said "Let's go but first I'm going to put some things away and get settled a little bit and.." she was interrupted by the ringing of her cellphone.

"Hello" she said calmly moving into the dining room of our suite.

"MMMMMOOOOMMMM!" was heard thought the speaker.

"Yes Chelsea" she replied.

Chelsea was whining "I'm bored and Mary is getting on my last nerve can you come get me?? PLEASE?!" She demanded sternly.

"Well what does father Jacob say?" mom asked, disappearing into the bedroom of our suite. I followed on her heels. Some where from the front room, Elvis was playing on an old radio that was crackling. I could hear Aaron singing along.

"He said I could go with you cause we aren't doing anything for the rest of the day except relaxing. And I have been cooped up all day mom I don't want to sit and relax." She could tell by Chelsea's voice she was seriously agitated.

"All right Chels" she said "I have something to finish and will be there shortly."

"OK", she replied "But please try to hurry mom."

"OK I'll be along but the longer you hold me up on the phone the longer it will be."

Chelsea said "alright bye." and hung up rather abruptly. Mom laughed at the eagerness of her younger daughter. For only 14, she was pushy.

Aaron and I told her we'll be outside and took our exit. We got out side and I spotted it almost directly across the street there it was Graceland. It was beautiful yet something about it was sad I was pulled not under my own will to the edge of Elvis Presley Blvd. I just stood with my mouth agate marveling it. Once again I felt like I was returning to my dream like state.

I felt a tug on my arm that snapped me back to reality.

"Hey you OK ?"It was Aaron, his green eyes were filled with a sudden concern.

"Yeah I'm OK just a little stunned by Graceland I guess" I lied.

"OK", he replied "Could you do me a favor and just back up from the road a little?" he asked. His strong grip guided me away from the curb.

"Sure" I replied not wanting to let him know I had no control in that moment that I was driven by an unknown force. I backed up and broke my gaze. Just then mom came out and said let's go we jumped into the car and were on our way to go get Chelsea.

Aaron jumped into the driver seat, I  took my place in the back. The CD that was in now was the Foggy River Boys. Chelsea's favorite band. She just adored Charlie Hodge, the singer. The sweet gospel filled the car as we moved back to the gravel road. Pulling up, Chelsea had been sitting on the porch of her cabin. Her face lit up when she saw moms caprice pull in. The old blue car rattled to a halt.
