Despite having serious concerns about Alec, he was pushed to the back of Jenny's mind, as her wedding took priority. As soon as she had returned home, Jenny had been forced to finalise the plans for the next day.
Her bridesmaids had come round to check that the dresses still fitted, and to try out different hairstyles. As Jenny had been busy working, she hadn't had much time to think about the little details.
Having Sky in the wedding was important to Jenny and Charlie, but as she couldn't walk yet, they had to get creative. Jenny had chosen Fleur to be one of her bridesmaids, so she decided that she should be in charge of Sky. Fleur would walk behind Sky, using her wand to levitate a foating bubble that would hold the baby up.
Jenny's only other bridesmaid, and Maid of Honor, was Ginny, who would lead the procession, followed by Sky and Fleur.

The bridesmaid dresses were floor length, and pale purple, although Sky's was slightly different as she was so young. In the end, after a lot of trial and error, Jenny decided that Ginny and Fleur should have their hair up in a messy bun.
Jenny would have her own hair down, but it would would be curled, instead of her natural hair type, which was straight.
Once the girls had gone, Jenny found Harry lurking outside her door, so she gestured for him to come into her room.
"Do me a favor tomorrow, and remember who the bride is" ordered Jenny.
Harry frowned, clearly confused. "What do you mean?".
"I mean, if you could keep your eyes off the bridesmaids, and on me, that would be great. I know one of them is your girlfriend, and the other is part Veela. But if you could try and not look at them throughout the service, I would appriciate it".

Harry placed his hands on Jenny's shoulders. "Stop stressing Jen. You are the bride, everyone is going to be looking at you, I promise".
"I'm not so sure. I have two very beautiful girls walking in front of me. I'm worried that they will steal the spotlight" admitted Jenny.
"If you were worried about being upstaged by Fleur, then why did you choose her as your bridesmaid?"
"I didn't really have any choice. I don't have any friends. And Fleur is my fiancè's best man's, wife. So I thought she would do, as she is family. I wanted Molly originally, but I knew it wouldn't work, as she is mother of the groom"
"You are going to look beautiful tomorrow, trust me. Forget about the other girls around you for once. Everyones eyes are going to be on you, I swear"
"Great, that makes me feel much better" replied Jenny, sarcastically.

Harry lowered his arms and sighed. "There is no pleasing you sometimes".
"I'm just stressed about tomorrow" Jenny revealed.
"Well of course you are. This is the quickest planned wedding I've ever been to"
"That's not saying much, as you haven't been to many weddings"
"Maybe not, but I am right".
Jenny turned from Harry, to face herself in the mirror, imagining how she would look the next day.
"Are you dissappointed that I'm the one walking you down the aisle?" Asked Harry, joining her in front of the mirror.
Jenny grabbed his hand and squeezed it. "Of course not. I'm lucky to have the boy who lived, ascourting me to my future husband. Who else can say that?".

"You know what I mean. Are you sad that your father isn't here?" Questioned Harry.
Jenny shook her head. "Not really. My parents were old when they had me, so I guess deep down, I always knew that they wouldn't be alive when I got married.
They only just made it to James's wedding, before they died. So I've known for a long time, that my father would never walk me down the aisle, on my wedding day".
"So you aren't dissapointed that you ended up with me?"
"No... I just wish that James could be here. When my parents died, I always pictured him walking with me instead. When I woke up, and found out he was dead, that image turned into Sirius. And then Remus... And now it's you. I couldn't think of anyone else I would want by my side, at my wedding, than you".

"At least I don't have to use Polyjuice Potion for this wedding" commented Harry.
Jenny smiled. "No. This wedding is totally safe. The protection around the Potter Manor, is very advanced. No Death Eater is disturbing my wedding".
"There aren't that many left to find. Most are already in Azkaban"
"That's good. But if a Death Eater does turn up. We know who to blame, as you are the Head Auror".
Harry held is hands up. "Yep. If anything like that happens, then it's my fault".
"But nothing like that, is going to happen, right?"
"No. This wedding is going to go as planned, and nothing is going to go wrong".

"Did you invite that Alec guy to the wedding?" Questioned Harry.
"No. He has a crush on me, so I thought it would be awkward if he flirted with me at my own wedding. Besides, I can't have a good time, if I'm trying to keep an eye on him the whole time" Jenny replied.
"Good thinking. I haven't found out much about him yet, other than he went to Durmstrang"
"Well I already knew that"
"I think I'm going to have to do some deep searching to find out why he doesn't appear on the Marauders Map. But leave it with me, I'll get there in the end".

"I still can't believe this is my last night as an unmarried woman" admitted Jenny.
"Where is your fiancè right now?" Quizzed Harry, looking around the bedroom for Charlie.
"At the Burrow. We are following an old tradition, by not spending the night before the wedding together. The next time I see him, will be at the wedding"
"I see... Aren't most people supposed to have a party the night before they get married?"
"If you mean a Hen party, then yes. But I'm not having one. Like I said earlier, I don't actually have any friends. Thats one of the down sides of not going to Hogwarts as a kid, I don't have a Ron or Hermione. But I don't mind, I'd rather be alone tonight"
"Is Charlie having a Bacheler party?"
"Not really. He is going to have some time with all his brothers in his childhood home. But they aren't going to get drunk, he promised me".

"Well, I had better get back to Grimmauld Place and get some sleep. It's a busy day tomorrow" said Harry yawning.
"You could stay the night in one of the spare rooms if you wanted to" offered Jenny.
"I thought you said you wanted to be alone tonight"
"I did. But I wouldn't mind you staying"
"I think it would be good for you to have someone with you. But all my things are at home"
"I'm never completely alone Harry. I have Sady, my house elf"
'You sure do".
Harry kissed Jenny goodbye, and made his way downstairs to get his coat, before he apparated back home. Being a Potter, meant he could apparate inside the house, unlike other people.
Jenny walked out onto the landing to watch him go, and smiled sadly as he disapparated, leaving her alone. She sighed deeply, and made her way back to her bedroom, to get ready for bed. Alone.
