Flower ; Sweet Pea

   The rest of the day was a breeze & before Ivy knew it she was in last period with Sweets. The two sat down at the back & immediately started talking. "Ivy waters & Sweet Pea, come with me please." Principal Weatherbee says. The couple give each other confused looks & follow him out of the door. They head to the commons area & see a couple of their other friends. "Which Of you defaced our school seal with this graffiti?" He asks while pointing to the ground. That doesn't even look correct. I'm so confused. "This is what they do Principal Weatherbee. They tag their turf." Reggie answers giving Ivy a smug look.

   "My god Reggie could you be any more transparent?" Veronica asks rolling her eyes. "Effective immediately, no gang behavior of any kind will be tolerated at my school. As of this moment no more Serpent jackets." Weatherbee says. "What? Are you kidding me?" Fangs says. "No more Serpent jackets! All tattoos are gonna be covered. Possession of any gang paraphernalia whatsoever will lead to immediate suspension. Are we clear?" He finishes walking away.

   All of the Serpents including Ivy are shocked. "Is it weird I want a tattoo now?" Ivy whispers to Sweet Pea. "Let's go get one tonight after your initiation." Sweet Pea says. Ivy smiles & nods. They head back to class to finish off the day.

   At the end of the day Ivy is gathering her stuff when Cheryl comes up to her. "This pretty much goes without saying but, you're off the River Vixens because of that tacky jacket. But when you take it off & get out of this mid life crisis you're having, maybe I will reconsider letting you back on the team." Cheryl says with an attitude. "Actually Cheryl, I hate cheer with an absolute passion, & I don't think that I'm gonna take this jacket off for a long time. But thanks for the offer." Ivy says shutting her locker before walking away to Sweet Pea's motorcycle.

   "Hey princess. You ready to go home so you can get ready?" Sweets asks her giving her the helmet. She nods. "I think you're gonna like the set I have, & plus I can use it some other time that isn't for initiation." She winks getting on the back. "Oh man." Sweet Pea says as they ride off to his trailer.

   When they get there, Ivy puts the set on but puts clothes over it. She looks in the mirror trying to prepare herself. She watches herself do the moves in the mirror before she was interrupted. "Babe, let's go!" Sweet Pea yells. "I'm actually about to do this." She mutters to herself. When she walks in the Wyrm, she sees her friends & gives them a smile & a thumbs up before getting on stage. a song starts to play as she takes her clothes off & perform the Serpent dance. 

   The crowd starts whooping & clapping. Sweet Pea greets his newly Serpent girl & hands her, her jacket to cover up with. "You did it princess!" He says picking her up & spinning her around. I did it. She thought. Ivy grabbed her clothing & Sweets ushered her off the stage. Ivy comes out from the bathroom in full clothing & her Serpent jacket. "Okay, so I'm going to get a tattoo, does anyone want to come with?" Ivy asks before taking her third shot of tequila. 

   "Why don't we slow down with those?" Sweet Pea said taking the shot glass from her. "No I'm serious. I have been wanting a tattoo for so long. I want a small violet rose on my my ribs under my boob." She says tracing a spot on her ribs where she wants it. "It was my mom's favorite flower & she named me Ivy because she loved the idea of her children after plants & flowers."(Pictured) Ivy says smiling. "That's so cute!" Toni said. "I will get a tattoo with you. The school wants tattoos covered up & no jackets? I'm gonna do the exact opposite." Jughead says taking a swig of his beer. "Yay! Okay Jug, let's go. Are you comin Pea?" Ivy asks grabbing her lanyard with her money in it. "Nah. I'm gonna go home & take care of the dogs & shower." He says kissing her. She nods & heads out the door with Jug. 

   They get on his motorcycle & they head out of the parking lot. When they get there Ivy tells them what  she wants & they start on her. "So do you know much about my mom?" Ivy asks wincing. "Only that she & my dad were best friends. My dad would tell me stories about her & how she helped lead us through hard times with the Ghoulies. Apparently she was a real legend." Jug said looking through the book of tattoos.

   "She wrote me some letters from before she passed. I have only read one or two, I'm just scared to read them. I don't think that my 'dad' was my real dad." Ivy said. "What makes you say that?" Jughead asks looking at her with a confused expression. "I look or act nothing like him. Plus, he hated kids from the beginning. He never wanted me or any other children, he said I was his biggest regret & that he almost didn't marry my mom because of me. So I don't know if that means he didn't wanna marry my mom because I already existed or because he didn't like the thought of me, as in children. I mean who knows, I may just be reading in between the lines because I hate him." She finishes. "Well you know that me & my dad are going to be here for you. You're pretty much family." Jug says smiling at her.
