  Ivy woke up to a alarm ringing in her ears. 

"Oh my god. T wake up we have to get to school." Ivy says packing her bag in a flustered manner.

 "Ugh do we really have to go?" Toni groans rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.

 "Yes. Now let's go."

   Ivy brushes her teeth and looks at herself in the mirror. She gets a sad feeling when she remembers yesterday's events. After shaking off that feeling she walks out the door to find that Toni was waiting for her. 

"We are going to be so late." Ivy says stressing out. 

"Nah. I will drive fast." Toni said making Ivy worried.

Ivy and Toni pull up to school right on time. 

"See, we weren't late!" Toni says smiling at her friend. 

   Ivy rolls her eyes jokingly at her friend right before they both walk into different classes. As first period went on she continued to think about Sweet Pea. Her thoughts were interrupted by a buzz in her pocket. She discreetly looks at her phone. "Hi princess. I'm so super sorry about yesterday. Can we talk after this period?" The text says. Ivy smiles to herself. She replies to his text before putting her phone away.

   Ivy tried her hardest to pay attention but she just couldn't. She bit her nails anxiously waiting for the bell to ring and as soon as it did she was out of that classroom. She waited for him in the student lounge and when Sweet Pea walked in her whole day had been made. Just the fact that he walked in the room made her feel so happy to be alive. 

"Hi." Ivy mutters looking at the ground.

"Hey." He replies while pushing her chin up to look at him.

"I'm sorry about what I said." Ivy says.

"Don't be. I'm just not used to feeling love. I'm only used to giving it, and every time I have given love it has never been reciprocated." 

"Well one thing is for sure, and it's that I truly love you Sweets. You don't have to say it back because I might be moving too fast but it's just how I feel. I thought I loved the devil, but i didn't. I just wanted to think I did to take away from all the bad things he's done to me." She says referring to Reggie.

"Ivy, I love you too. I guess I was just too scared to say it back. In fear that you were just gonna leave like the rest." He confesses. Ivy brings her small hands to his face & kisses him softly on the lips. Sweet Pea engulfs her in a hug. This is what she had been missing.

"Never ever walk out of the house at night without me again. I was terrified the whole time you were alone. I just let my pride get in the way of your safety and that will never happen again. I texted Toni to make sure you were okay.

"Sorry Pea." Ivy says with an embarrassed expression.

"You know how you call me princess? Like, I'm your princess? Well, you're my flower. Sweet Pea was my favorite flower that my mom had. She gave me one the night before she passed." Ivy said as she walked down the hallway side by side with her serpent. 

"Adorable." He says kissing her forehead as the couple walked into their next class.

   At the end of the day, Sweet Pea came to Ivy's locker. The couple walked hand in hand out of the doors of the school and headed to his bike. When they get on they head to the Wrym following the rest of their friends. They walk in the Wrym and everyone grabs their serpent jackets off the coat rack. Ivy puts on her serpent jacket. She loves the feeling of finally having a family. 

"What can I getcha?" Hog Eye asks Ivy and Sweets as they enter the bar.

"The regular." Ivy says. Hog Eye nods his head at her and goes to make her drink.

"So, you two okay?" Toni asks gesturing at Ivy and Sweet Pea.

"Yeah we're all good." Ivy replies with a large smile on her face.

"Good. Cause I can't take anymore of the crying Ivy. I like the happy Ivy." Toni says laughing. Ivy chuckles along with Toni. Jughead, Fangs, and FP walk in the Wyrm . 

"Hey guys." Ivy says while Hog Eye slides her Manhattan drink to her. The group ignored Ivy for they were in a deep conversation. 

"Sweet Pea come here." FP calls out to Sweets.

"What are they talking about?" Ivy asks turning to Toni.

"Beats me." Toni replies. Ivy starts to be more interested in their topic of conversation. She over hears a name of Penny Peabody. 

"Toni, who is Penny Peabody?" Ivy asks looking at her friend curiously. Toni rolls her eyes. 

"Yeah. She's the snake charmer. Is that what they're talking about?" Toni says taking a drink from her glass.

"Yeah I think so." Ivy says. 

"Oh boy." Toni mutters bringing her glass to her lips.

A/N Oh my god.. Hey. I'm so sorry I have been MIA. I had this chapter written for the longest time I just haven't had the time to publish it. But here it is and I changed the formatting a little bit. I'm gonna try to write more tho I just have a lot of school work and that just has to come first.
