Ivy continued her day thinking about the lie that Reggie had told her about the fight. Why on earth, would he not tell me about this? Ivy thought to herself while sitting in science class. She was quickly brought to reality when someone walked into class. "You've got to be kidding me." She mumbles to herself. Here comes Sweet Pea. He winks at her & takes a seat in the empty desk next to her.

"Surprised to see me princess?" Sweet Pea whispers to Ivy. "You know when your boyfriend pushed you this morning? I just wanted to knock him the fuck out right there. Putting his hands on you like that." His words shocked Ivy. "Oh no he wasn't being mean. He was just frustrated. He really is a good guy." She said as she came to the defense of her boyfriend. "Oh I'm so sure." He said with a slight annoyance in his voice.

"Look why do you have such a problem with Reggie?" Ivy asked him. "Because he's got a hell of a girl, & I bet he takes it for granted." He finished taking his notes & started paying attention. Ivy thought about his words, that definitely wasn't the first time Reggie had gotten kind of physical with her when he was angry. He never hit or punched her or any violence of that sort, but he would push her sometimes. But on very rare occasions. Soon enough the final bell rang & the class started emptying out. "Hey, do you wanna be partners for the project due next week?" Sweet Pea asked politely. Ivy was so deep in thought she didn't realize they even had a project. "Yeah of course. We can come to my house to work on it if you want." She offered.

"Yeah that's fine with me. I will come to your locker before I leave & I can take us back to your house if that's okay." He suggested. Ivy nodded at him & headed out of the classroom. "Ivy!" She heard her name being called from down the hall. "Ivy, you gotta talk to me about what happened." Reggie said. "I'm the one that has to talk? No I think you are the one that's supposed to talk. You could have been seriously hurt. I get why you didn't call or text before it happened, but why couldn't you tell me after it did?" She said getting frustrated. "Let me take you home & we can talk it out." The boy pleaded. "Sorry can't. I have a project to work on." She said slamming her locker shut. "You ready?" Sweet Pea asked. "Oh you've got to be kidding right?" Reggie said in disbelief. "I will talk to you later Reg. Bye I love you." She told him. She didn't even get a response before Reggie turned around & walked away. "Ouch that hurt." She added.

When Sweet Pea & Ivy got outside, Sweet Pea handed her his helmet. "You expect me to get on that thing?" Ivy asks. "Oh don't be such a princess & get on." He demands. She gets on the back of his motorcycle & holds on to Sweet Pea's waist. She looks at Veronica & Betty who both have their jaws dropped. Ivy shrugs & Betty makes a phone with her hand & holds it up to her face, indicating that Ivy has some explaining to do. Ivy chuckles before Sweet Pea speeds off.

They get to Ivy's house & Sweet Pea parks outside of her house. "How was that?" He asked while getting off. "That was so fun!" Ivy said very excited. Sweet Pea chuckled & followed Ivy in the house. "Your folks home?" He asked. Ivy quietly sighed. "My mom died when I was around 2 & my dad works all the time to support us. & He's never home because he's a traveling construction worker." "Oh, I'm sorry." He said sympathetically. "My dad was never in the picture & my mom kinda abandoned me." Ivy looked at him with sad eyes. She really felt for the Serpent boy. She understood how he felt.

"Oh my god that's horrible." She says with a slight frown on her face. "I understand how you feel. I know my dad hasn't abandoned me, but he's never around & I feel like I'm raising myself." She gives a weak smile.

Their project was halfway done & a friendship was being made. "Bye Sweets!" Ivy yelled at her new friend as she waved him goodbye. She closed the door, locked it, & immediately went upstairs & videochatted Betty & Veronica. They talked about why Betty & Jug broke up & they talked about Sweet Pea. The girls were convinced that Ivy likes him but she reassured her friends that she's very much in love with Reggie. They also talked about how Reggie was being different & how he has been rude to Ivy lately. "Okay guys I have to go I'm soooo tired." Ivy says. They say their goodbyes & Ivy tried to to sleep with Rose & Dahlia by her side.
