     Ivy and Sweet Pea head to meet up with the rest of the serpents to discuss what they are going to do with Penny. Ivy was nervous because she had never done anything as deviant as they were planning yet she was still motivated to do so. This was her family. "Is everyone up to date with everything? Do you all know your parts?" Jughead said looking around. Everyone nods. Including Ivy. "Well we better get going, it's going to be dark soon." Jughead finishes his speech. He heads to his motorcycle and is followed by the other Serpents. Ivy grabs Sweet Pea's hand and they head to his motorcycle

     After they had gotten Penny, the Serpents dropped her off in Greendale. Ivy walks over to Penny and rips the bag off her head. Penny pants and drops her hands to her knees. "Where am I?" She asks. "You're in Greendale." Jughead says almost before Penny can get the words out of her mouth. "You're new home." He continues. Penny rolls her eyes. "But frankly, Penny, I don't care where you set up shop. But it's not gonna be in Riverdale," Jughead says getting down to her level. "And it's not gonna be with the Serpents." Ivy finishes. She continues to walk closer to Penny. "You want to deal drugs, you want to extort people, that's your business. But not on the Southside. That belongs to us." Ivy says as Penny laughs. "You stupid cocky kids. Serpent law says you can't hurt one of your own." She says exposing her the Serpent tattoo on her arm. "Oh Penny, it's time you learned." Jughead says getting up from his crouched position.

     "Grab her." He says. And Toni and Sweet Pea follow his order by grabbing her arms and holding her down. "What are you doing?! Get off of me!" She says. Ivy switches out her switch blade and walks close to her. "That tattoo doesn't make you a Serpent." Ivy says lunging towards her. Despite Penny's screams, Ivy cuts off her Serpent tattoo. After Ivy finished, Sweet Pea and Toni dropped her. The gang hopped on their bikes and headed back to SunnySide.

     When they got back Ivy told Sweet Pea to go back home, she wanted to be with Jughead when they told FP, and plus she needed to talk to him after she found out the news. They had stopped by Pop's to get a "celebratory dinner" as Ivy called it. Jughead and Ivy walk in the trailer looking for FP. "Hey dad." Jughead says when he comes out of his bedroom. "What's all this?" FP asked looking at the bag. "This is a celebratory dinner, Or that's what Ivy called it." He said side hugging her. "Penny didn't show up for your pick up, did she?" Jughead said grabbing the bag of food off the counter. "No. No, she didn't. Why? Do you know something about that?" FP asks. 

     "She's gone, dad. We rallied the younger Serpents, we drove her out of Riverdale. And Ivy got her pound of flesh in the process." He says motioning to her. Ivy stands there awkwardly mainly thinking about what was going to happen after this argument. "Are you guys nuts?! She will be back, you better believe that." FP argues. "She won't!" Ivy yells back, she can't if the anger coming out is from earlier that day or just the thought of Penny coming back. "We were very persuasive. And even if she does, we will take care of it. You, me, and Jughead. And the other serpents." She says. "On unity there's strength." Jughead adds. "Oh, God." FP groans. "That's the sixth law. While you were in jail, I recited that every day, I lived by that. You wanna take our Jackets? You wanna relegate us to Toys for Tots, fine. But we are still Serpents, dad, and this, this life that you wanted to protect me from, protect Ivy from, I'm proud of this. And I know Ivy is too. We are proud of who we are. You can't take that away from us." He finishes. He looks at Ivy and she wipes the tears off her face that she didn't know she had.

     Jughead hugged her. "I love you. You belong here. I promise that little sis." He said. She feels more tears coming at the term he used for her. Little sis. I have a brother. I have a family. She thought. FP got up and hugged his kids. Ivy pulled away from Jughead and hugged FP. "I'm sorry kiddo. I'm sorry for everything. I was just so scared. Especially trying to come back after 17 years. I thought you wouldn't want to see me or you wouldn't accept me. But Ivy, I swear, If I knew that deadbeat of a man hit you, I would have told you and gotten you out of there as fast as I could." He says in her ear in between cries. "It's okay, you're here now. It's okay." She says hugging him back.
