Flower ; Sweet Pea

Ivy, FP & Jughead all catch up & talk in the Wyrm. Soon they hear the sweet sound of motorcycles & their friends walk in shortly after. Ivy gives Sweet Pea a kiss when he walks up to her. "Hey. How has your day off been?" Sweet Pea asks giving her a nudge. "Pretty good. I did something you wouldn't be happy about though." Ivy says giving a big smile. "What are you talking about?" Sweet Pea asks. Ivy points to the arcade game keeping the grin on her face. He rushes over to the machine in a panic & realizes his worst fear. His high score had been beaten. His most prized possession. "Ivy how the hell did you do that?" Toni asks in disbelief. "He has kept that score for about three-ish years now!" Toni says. She gives Ivy an applause & the rest of the Serpents follow. Ivy chuckles & bows.

She looks over to see her boy playing the game in a frenzy, desperately trying to get his score back. She chuckles & walks up behind him & hugs him. "Ivy. Don't distract me. This is important." He says in all seriousness. "I wanna spend time with you." Ivy whines. "Damnit! He yells grabbing at his hair. Well where do you wanna go princess?" He asks grabbing at her waist. "Anywhere but here. As long as I'm with you I truly don't care." She replies looking up at the tall boy. "Alright. Let's go." He says leading her to his bike.

After driving around, for what feels like hours, they stop at Sweetwater River. "This was one of my favorite places to come as a kid. Just to get away from everything." Ivy says sitting next to the water. "Aw don't all emo on me now!" He replies jokingly. She rolls her eyes. She looks at the water, then at Sweet Pea. She strips down her underwear while he gives her weird looks. She runs & jumps off the dock close by. She lets out a scream as she feels the cold water hit her. When she comes up for air she gets splashed from the impact of Sweet Pea jumping in after her. She laughs. She is so happy at this moment. Never has she ever felt so loved & happy to be alive. She is so thankful for everyone she has met in these last few weeks & months. She is mostly grateful for her flower. Her Sweet Pea. Her favorite flower.

She realized at that moment, that she loved him. He swims up to her. He wraps her legs around his torso. "Sweet Pea?" She says, which comes out as more of a question. "Yes princess?" He asks moving the hair from out of her face to behind her ear. "I, I think. No, I know I love you." She stutters to get the words out. He goes frozen. "What?" He asks. "I love you." She repeats. "No, I know what you said but, how? Why?" He asks backing up from her. Oh no. This did not go as planned. She thought to herself. "I think we should head back." He says getting out. "Wait, Sweets! What's wrong?" She asks with tears forming. "Let's go." He says once again. She gets out & slowly grabs her things before hopping back on the bike.

   When they get home Ivy makes a phone call. "Toni? Can I please stay with you tonight?" She says in between tears. "Oh my god of course." Toni says on the other end. They say their goodbyes & Ivy gathers some of her clothes. "I'm gonna stay with Toni tonight." Ivy says to Sweet Pea looking at the ground. "Okay. Would you like me to take you?" He asks looking at the TV. "No I can manage." She replies. "Okay. Have fun." He said not looking at her. She wiped the tear off her cheek to keep it from hitting the floor. "Okay." She said quietly. She walks out the door & heads to Toni's trailer. She walks down the street alone & cries quietly to herself. When she gets to Toni's trailer & gives the door a quiet knock. The door opens almost immediately & she is engulfed in a hug from Toni. 

   "I don't know what happened T." Ivy says hugging her. She hushes her & they walk inside. "Don't you live with your grandfather?" Ivy asks wiping her tears with a paper towel. "Yeah he's out of town this week." She answers. "Okay but what happened?" Toni asks. "I don't even know. I'm gonna try to explain it best I can." Ivy says putting her things by the door. They sit on the couch surrounded by food & Ivy begins to tell the story that made her day so bad. 

   By the end of the story she was still in tears & half of their food was gone. "Woah." Toni says eating a chip. "Do you think I moved too fast? I have never felt so much love towards anyone. I know I just met him a couple months ago, but from the moment I saw him I immediately felt a pull towards him. I thought about him when I was with Reggie. Oh man, when I found out that you guys were gonna come to Riverdale High I was so excited because i just wanted to get to know him. I just felt drawn to him & no matter how much I played it off I always wanted to be next to him & I felt the need to know anything & everything I could about him. Today just felt like the right time. Him & I were the only people for miles when we were at Sweetwater River & it felt like we were the only people in the world. Sometimes if he falls asleep first, which he usually does, I just admire him & how beautiful he is. He's my flower. He means everything to me & I have only known him for a short period of time." Ivy rambled. 

   "I'm moved." Toni says holding her hand to her heart in awe. Ivy chuckled. "Sweets is a very protected person. No one knows too much beyond the fact that he was abandoned as a child by his parents, & the other fact that he had a girl that he was infatuated with & she left him for a Northsider. That's another reason he hates the Northsiders. But that girl left him just like his parents did. I think he's afraid to be left again. He loved his parents & the girl, & they all left." Toni says. "Do you think he even likes me? Am I just some girl he wants to fuck? Is he gonna get bored & drop me?" Ivy asks her friend in a panic. "No! Oh my. He never  gets close to anyone like he has with you. We were all so surprised when he asked you to move in. It took him a long time to finally trust me & Fangs. He will need some time. I don't think you were moving too fast, but he might've." Toni says taking a drink of her soda.

   "Okay. Enough talk about me. Is there any boy that you're into?" Ivy says nudging her. "Nah, I'm more into girls anyway." She says grinning. "Oooo who?" Ivy asks very interested. "She's way out of my league. A certain red-haired blossom." She says chuckling. They talk about their love interests & continue on with the night. Ivy had found a new friend. 

A/N: OMG!! Hi I'm back! I'm sorry I went MIA for a little bit. I have been trying to settle in school & it's been a kinda hard adjustment. But I'm gonna try to update more!!! But I was living for this cute little Toni & Ivy moment! Also this is the longest chapter I have wrote!
