CHAP 1 :Time for truth.(1)

It was Sunday so she had to go to school of course. But it was already 8am, the time she usually wakes up on Sundays, and she was awake but still thinking...lost in her thoughts. About HER story...
What should I do? I can't say no to my mum. My mum have already been through so much because of me.
That bastard! Whoever he is!
I know he is supposed to be my dad.
But he doesn't deserve it!!
"Agh......" She scratches her head and roll around her bed.
It's true. Her mom have been through so much. When she was around 26 she got pregnant without any marriage. She told her boyfriend but his boyfriend freaked out and ran away. At least that's what Ruhi knows. When her mom came to realise that her boyfriend has ran away. The only option left was to go to her parents, the only help she got was curses from her parents and a suggestion to abortion. She simply refused and got kicked out by her parents. But then too she raised her daughter ... Alone.

Now, Ruhi's mom was being transferred to a place with not such good facilities for some research work. So she had to shift her daughter to a hostel.
Ruhi didn't fought or made any kind of faces which a normal teenager would do but simply gave a supportive smile and agreed. Although she was dying inside.
She never usually fought to her mum because she understands her mom's situation.
Now about her life, she had a bestest and trustworthy friend, Kanika Rawat. And a nice and lovable boyfriend, Abhinav Karki(or Abhi, his nick name or short name , who cared so much about her, it has been almost 1 year since they were together. Of course Kanika knew her whole story and also that she is about to go but her boyfriend was unknown to everything, her story as well as her farewell.
"Ruhi!!!!"
Ruhi startled and her thoughts  broken by the sudden cry of her mom. She was immediately worried when suddenly her mom broked into her room.
"Ruhi, its a good news for you!!"her mom cried.
"What happened mo- good news?"her tone changed as she realised that nothing was wrong." Mom..... Why do you do this? You freaked me out.."she whined. She was still a little girl.
"Sorry...but this is really a good news!" She tried to chear her daughter.
"What? What is it??" She asked with a little confusion and curiosity.
What is it? For her to react like this??

"You have been accepted at Starshine institution!!"her mom cried.
"Really??"Ruhi exclaimed.
Her mother took her remark as she didn't believed it but is happy.
But Ruhi's feelings were mixed.
"Yes, you will after two days. Now wash up and come down for breakfast." Her mom reassured her walked out.
While Ruhi was still sitting on her bed, thinking that it absolute that she HAS to go.
It is so sudden...I haven't even told anyone except Kanika about it. Not even  Abhi .......aaaaahhh what am I supposed to do now????
She scratched her head got up from bed moving towards her washroom mumbling under her breath.

She took a bite of her sandwich, but was still thinking how to break the news with others.
"What are you thinking about?"her mom asked.
She immediately looked at her mom, coming out of the 'thinking'.
"It's nothing.." she said moving her head a little and giving a smile.
"Then when are you going to tell your friends that you are going?"her mom asked.
"I'll just tell them today or tomorrow."
She replied before taking a bite of her sandwich.
"I don't know about others but you should tell Kanika today."
"I have told her before..."
"Then you have to confirm it with her." She said looking at Ruhi.
And at the reply, Ruhi nodded.

Okay...so now I have to confirm it with Kanika? I already know what she will say....she will yell at me that only two days are left and I haven't told anyone?...okay who cares about others!but not even  Abhi  !!
Ruhi talked to herself in her own mind while moving towards Kanika's house. She took a deep breath before ringing her doorbell.
Mrs.Rawat opened the door.
"Good morning Mrs.Rawat ." She greeted. She surely had a cheerful smile.
"Good morning Ruhi." She greeted back with a big smile."Kanika is in her room."
"Thank you. I'll just go there."she replied.
She moved towards her room. Preparing herself.
She raised her fist to knock on her door when Kanika opened the door.
Kanika took in a breath, surprised at Ruhi's sudden appearance and complained." You startled me!" Her eyes widened.
Ruhi was also surprised and her eyes were widened.

"What will you drink? I will pay." Ruhi asked.
"Why? What is this change about?
Usually you say ,'pay for yourself'."
Kanika asked in curiosity.
"Aish...just say what will you drink."
"If so....than my favourite one!!"

They both sat. Kanika sipping in her milkshake and Ruhi looking at her.
"What is it? Do you wanna say something?" Kanika asked.
"Well...yes."
"Then say it."
"Umm.... That...umm... Okay!"
Ruhi hesitated and then with a sudden agreed to herself. This made Kanika just about to spill her milkshake."What is with you today?"
Kanika asked again with a slight irritation.
" Kanika. I have been accepted at Starshine institution and I'll be transferring there after two days" she spilled out the truth all together with her eyes closed.
It took few for Kanika to understand and she immediately yelled,
"WHAT?? I Mean seriously? Two days are left and you haven't told anyone? I mean who cares about others...but not even Abhi?"

The exact same words.
"I know...but I think you should calm down..... everyone is looking at us." Ruhi tried to calm her down.
Yes, truly everyone was looking at them.
