Shawn's Point Of View
Sun's golden rays flooded into my room, making it full of light. I don't have curtains or blinds in my bedroom because I like to wake up at sunrise so I can start my day early.
Y/N stirred a little as she laid her head on my chest. As daybreak came, she slowly opened her eyes. I looked at her as her lips became centimetre away from mine. Noses touched and I felt her hot breath on my lips. Before I had a chance to complete, she pulled away and got ripped the sheets off her getting out of bed.
I, too, got up and slipped on some sweats but no shirt.
"Morning," she said quietly.
"Morning," I greeted back with a big, happy smile.
She made her way out of my room running a hand through her hair and making her way downstairs. I followed like a puppy.
She turned around, gave a small smile and then walked into the kitchen. She knew that I'd been alone, without a relationship or anything, for quite a while. And I thought I found love with the previous girl I was with. I was wrong. Then, one night, I met Y/N and she got me thinking a whole lot of things.
She brought out a different kind of me. The less shy me and a lot more other things, too. And she fell for men who weren't how they looked, so, we'd kind of had a same past of dating.
I sat on a kitchen counter stood as we spoke and I observed her making breakfast.
couple years later
"I told you that you had to do it!"
"Alright! I'm sorry! I forgot. I'll do it another time!"
"You always forget! And you always say that!"
"I'm sorry!"
She let out a huff and she turned to me, arms crossed and expression angered. Few seconds later, it softened and turned into a laugh.
"God, can you believe how ridiculous we're being?" she asked.
"Arguing over taking out the trash? Definitely," I agreed, chuckling.
"Who knew that I'd end up here..." she let out a sigh after laughing.
I knew what she was talking about. We were only supposed to be spending a night together. She came over to mine on the night we met and the next morning she had to go. She didn't leave. Years later, she's still with me.
Even after years of being together, I get lost every time I see her. And sometimes I even think that I'm dreaming and that this isn't real. If that were to be the case then I wouldn't like to be woken up. I fall more in love with her every night I see her; I didn't know that was possible.
I take a look at her as she laid in my arms.
But most importantly, everything felt right when she's with me. And I guess that's one reason of how you know you're in love.
A/N: i've been listening to the same song everyday for the past four days. how are y'all? I know I missed out one song (in case you haven't noticed I'm doing it in album's order) simply because I didn't have an idea for it. Got one? Comment and I'll write a chapter for Like To Be You.
