We are in the car for what seems like hours. But I don't mind. It's hours of him telling me how beautiful I am and that breaking up with me was the biggest mistake he ever made. I just nod my head and smile.
"Is there anything you would like to say?" he asks.
"I know breaking up with me was the biggest mistake of your life." I say jokingly. He then turns to me and smirks.
"That's not what I mean."
"Fine, you are the best guy that I have ever dated, and I have cried every night about the break up until we got back together."
"Sam, you don't have to go that far."
"Ok," I say. "Well, then you are the best guy I have ever dated." I then lean in and kiss him on the check.
"Hey, don't distract the driver."
"Ok." I say pouting my lips, and batting my eyelashes. Freddie glances over at me and then smirks.
"Come on Sam," Freddie says. "Don't pull a Carly on me." I then begin to laugh and he joins in with me.
"Can you believe her?" I say. "Still trying to charm you to do what she wants."
"I know. It's starting get really annoying."
"Can we please tell her?"
"Why?"
"Because"
"Well, Sam Puckett. You aren't jealous are you?"
"Pff! No! Why would I be jealous? After all I'm the one with the greatest boyfriend on the planet. Carly's the one who should be jealous of me."
"But she doesn't know you have the greatest boyfriend on the planet."
"She should still be jealous of me."
"Ok, jealous." he says in a teasing manner.
"I'm not jealous!"
"Whatever you say." he then pulls over into a small parking lot and parks the car. He then gets out and goes around to the trunk. He pops it up and grabs something from it. He then comes around to side of the car where I'm sitting and opens my door. "Will you be walking or shall I carry you?" I put my finger on my chin to look like I'm thinking about the two options even though we both know what I'm gonna choose.
"Carry me!" I say with my arms wide out. He smiles and then picks me up. I rest my head on his shoulder. "How come you didn't do this the first time we were dating?" I ask. He shrugs his shoulders.
"I guess because we were fighting every now and then, I thought you would start something if I tried."
"Well, guess what?"
"What?"
"I love it." I then give him a gentle kiss on the check.
"This looks like a nice spot." Freddie says. He then sets me down gently on the grass. He then puts what seems to be a picnic basket on the ground. He opens it and takes out a blanket and lays it down on the ground. He then sets up the food. "Voila!" he says holding his hand out.
"A picnic? Really?" I say taking his hand.
"Well, you said you wanted a real date. So here you go." I then sit down on the blanket and pat a spot on the blanket for him to sit.
"So what did you bring?" I ask.
"I brought all of your favorites," he says playfully tapping my nose. "We have fried chicken, ribs, ham, bacon, Pini's lasagna. For dessert coconut cream pie from Galini's. And to drink root beer."
"You know me so well." I say and then lean in for a kiss.
"I know, now come on let's dig in."

"Alright, are you ready?" Freddie asks.
"Are you kidding?" I ask. "I was born ready!"
"Ok then. Ready..."
"Set..."
"Go!" we say in unison. We both then go rolling down the hill. All I can see is blurry trees and some grass. I then hit a tree and come to a stop. I stand up and scan the area for Freddie. I finally see him a few feet in front of me.
"Looks like I win." he says.
"No fair," I say. "I would've won if I hadn't run into this tree."
"But you did run into the tree, so I won." I go up to him and punch his arm. "Hey! I thought we got past this." he says rubbing his arm.
"Not completely." I say.
"Can we not harm each other now that we're dating?"
"Maybe." Freddie sighs.
"What can I do to turn that into a yes?"
"Not do stupid things." I say with a smile. He sighs once more.
"I guess that's fair." He then pulls me into a hug.
"You really are the best boyfriend ever."
"Tell me something I don't know." We then both lean in, but something lands on my head.
"What was that?" I asks pulling away.
"It felt like rain." Freddie says. And as soon as his sentence finishes, it comes pouring down. Freddie then bows down like a gentleman and holds his hand out. "May I have this dance?" I then shrug my shoulders.
"Why not" I say taking his hand. He then pulls me close to him. One hand interlocked with my arm, the other on my waist. We then begin to twirl around and frolic through the grass. The world's biggest smile plastered on my face.
"And now a kiss." Freddie declares.
"Don't you think this is a little cheesy?" I ask. "First a dance in the rain and now a kiss? He shrugs his shoulders.
"Isn't that what makes it romantic?" He then leans and gives me a kiss. And I kiss him back.
