For breakfast, me and Freddie ended up getting pancakes from McDonald's. He drives the car back to my place and we sneak the food up to my room.
Freddie sits on my bed, spreading out the food. Once he's done I jump on the bed and cuddle next to him.
"Freddie?" I say my voice quiet.
"Yes Sam?"
"Don't you think it's time to tell?" I then look up to see him looking down at me. He then leans in and gently kisses my forehead.
"Lets just wait a little while longer."
"Why?"
"Why what?"
"Why do we have to wait?" Freddie then lets out a heavy sigh.
"Sam, we've been through this-"
"I hate this Freddie!" I yell. I can feel my eyes begin to water.
"I hate having to kiss you in secret. I hate not being able to go on real dates. I hate not being able to hold your hand in public. I hate pretending to hate you. And I especially hate lying to my best friend." And I let the tears fall, not caring if Freddie sees. He wraps his arms around me and pulls me into him closer. He then presses his lips to mine.
"Just a little longer. Then, there will be no more lies. I promise."
