'I hate mornings!' I groaned, getting out of bed. I've never been a morning person and never will be one, I worship sleep. I slowly made my way to my closet and picked out a grey long-sleeved shirt, grey skinny jeans, and grey keds. If your wondering about all the grey it's because my faction is Abnegation. See my parents got offered a government job in Chicago where everyone lives in factions, five to be specific. Abnegation, Amity, Candor, Dauntless and Erudite. Each person has to act the way there faction wants them to, that also involves where a certain colour. My faction is selfless-ness, so we where grey to help is forget our selves. We moved here a few weeks ago so I'm still getting used to the living conditions and un-packing. After placing my clothes at the end of my nicely made queen sized bed, I quietly made my way to the bathroom. After showering and getting dressed, I made my way down stairs, grabbed my lunch and backpack and headed out to the truck where Caleb, my brother, waited for me.
I guess I should introduce myself now. My name is Matthew Beatrice prior, yes yes I know I have a boys name so what, my parents always wanted sons so I got stuck with Matthew. I've learned to just deal with it. Hmm.....I'm a sixteen year old girl, I'm short, and I have long blond hair with purple underneath. Well that's really all there is to say about me, I'm a boring person. It took us fifteen minutes to get to the school, and another five to find the main office. "I'm looking for mrs.Marie." I asked the secretary ms.Heather." Oh, you must be mrs.Matthew, I suppose?", she asked."She's in with a young man right now, but your free to wait if you like." Ms.Heather stated smiling at me, I nodded my head, smiling back. I sat down on one of the plastic chairs ms.Heather pointed out, to wait for mrs.Marie. After a few minutes a door creaked open and a boy stepped out. The boy had short Abnegation style hair, and blue eyes. He wore all black, so he must be Dauntless, and you could see a tattoo sticking out from underneath the collar of his shirt."He's looking fine," I thought to myself. Mrs.Marie walked out after the Dauntless boy."Stay out of trouble Four!" she warned."Now get to class." The boy, Four, stalked out of the office without another word, mrs.Marie turned to me."You must be the new student, Mrs.Prior?" She asked, I nodded. She smiled at me and held out a folder."This is your schedule and locker combination, Christina here will show u around the school and escort you to all your class's because she has the same schedule." She said pointing to a tall, Candor girl around my age, she smiled at me.
