Hi. I know you've never really acknowledged my existence. And I feel really stupid for writing to you. Has life in Avonlea treated you well? I hope it's better than where I am right now. It's dreadful here. I hope you've kept your half of my locket. And your promise. I know you're probably mad at me for not writing to you for a long time, but you have to understand I didn't get paper or a pen until today. I would've written sooner if I could of! I miss you dear friend. I had a typewriter before, but they broke it. I love you my dear friend. I hope I can visit you soon. If this letter isn't completely blacked out then you'd know how much I missed you. One piece of paper a week. I have to write to my family and you and all my other friends.
