Chapter 25: Confession Pt.2

WARNING: Lots of cringe and cheesiness, continue at your own risk. Also I'm making the Idol Star Atheletics Championships all into one day, instead of multiple days like how they actually do it because I feel like it.

You froze.

He had just uttered the words that made everything easier, and yet, it made everything much more confusing.

You could've done it, you could've told him that you loved him too, and you could've had someone you truly wanted.

And yet, you didn't.

You didn't tell him you loved him, you didn't tell him anything, what you did was freeze right then and there. And let him think God knows what.

He could've thought that you didn't feel the same, that you didn't like him that way, you could've accidentally broken his heart. And you let it happen, right in front of you.

'Shit.'

You just let go of him, and walked next to Sojung, who was preparing to run again for your relay. She went on the track, and when the horn sounded once again, she started the race.

Not too long after, Danielle went on the track and waited for Sojung to pass the baton to her. She got it and took off running. Next was Yeona, who, not too long after got it and began running. And then, you. You took a drop breath and rolled up your sleeves, flashing a smile and giving a thumbs up to the fans holding up signs and light sticks. Yeona gave you the baton and you ran as fast as possible.

You noticed that Yeona's running had the team fall behind to third place, and you wanted to win, so you made sure to pass second place and catch up to first. By then, you were pretty tired, since you had exerted a lot of energy by catching up. But once you saw the finish line, you ran even faster, unaware of whether you were really in first place or not.

You slowly came to a stop and heard cheering from where the fans were sitting, then looked to see where you placed, seeing that you were first. You screamed and skipped out on jumping since your legs were tired.

The next event would be men's wrestling.

~~FAST FORWARDS~~

Men's wrestling was done, with B1A4 being the winners. After this, it was women's wrestling. Your first match being against MAMAMOO. You went onto the mat and bowed to your opponent, then took a hold of her belt.

When the match started, you didn't even get a chance to think before Hwasa slammed you on the mat. You laid there for a moment, thinking about what just happened, and realized that you were way to light for this event. Hwasa gave you a smile and offered a hand to help you up, you accepted it and smiled back. Royalz lost the round 1-2, and was miraculously moved up for a reason you were completely unaware of.

The finals came, and out of your four matches, you lost three of them. That fact didn't gift you much hope in the end, since you would be put up against Nayeon, who had gone undefeated.

The match started, she immediately held a part of your belt around your thigh and wrapped a leg around yours, making you lose your balance. She succeeded, and you felt yourself falling backward. But, you turned around, and fell on top on her, you won.

Royalz won.

So this chapter, literally no point to it. I had a lot of difficulty writing this, I wanted you all to wait for the good part. I've been writing a lot of filler chapters lately, but don't worry, next chapter won't be a filler. So please enjoy and make sure to keep reading. Just so you know, there will be a third part too.
