"Chloe, are you ready?" Nick asked. Nick is my boy friend I met in college three years ago. We have been dating for two years and it's going great.
We're going on a date before I leave tomorrow to see my parents. I haven't seen them for about a year. Ever since I graduated from college I've been out having fun. When I don't have work. I've made friends with a lot of people because of Alex. Alex is one of my best friends and he really helped me make friends here.
"I'm ready" I said and walked out of my room to see Nick sitting on the couch. He looked so good in his out fit. He was wearing a white button up shirt with black slacks and nice shoes.
"You look great" I said.
"Thank you. You look beautiful. How did I get so lucky" nick said and kissed me softly.

"Thank you so much for tonight" I said as he walked me to my apartment door.
"No problem I had a great time with you" he said.
"Me too" I said and gave him a quick peck on the lips
we said our good nights and I went into my apartment and he went home to his. As I walked into the apartment I pulled my phone out and texted my Mom.
Me- hey mom, I just wanted to say good night and that I'm so excited to see you tomorrow. Are you picking me up or should I get an Uber?
Mom- hey sweetie. I'm so happy that you're coming home for a little bit. I will pick you up at the air port and then I was thinking about having dinner together and with your father.
Me- thank you so much. That sounds great. I haven't spoken to dad in a while. How is he doing?
Mom- he's doing good. He's just busy with work. But he will be home tomorrow. He made sure to have that day off for you.
Me- that's so nice of him. I'm going go go to bed. I'll see you tomorrow. Love you, night
Mom- alright sweetie. It was nice talking to you. Good night
I left her on read and shut my phone off and started to get ready for bed.
