Grayson's POV
"Come one Grayson! I want to get to the beach before the sun goes down" Chloe whined.
"Alright alright, I'm coming" I said with a laugh.
We get into my car and I drive us to the beach.
"Hey Grayson" Chloe says while leaning her head on my shoulder as we watch the sun set.
"Yah?" I said looking straight out in front of me.
"What do you think our future is going to be like?" She asks and looks up at me.
"Well I'm hoping that we'll be married and have little kids running around. Maybe two kids. That's a good number of kids. Maybe four? I hope that we will grow old together and never leave each other" I said and looked down at her.
"That sounds great. Too bad that never happens" she said and looked back out at the sun.
"What do you mean?" I asked confused.
"Well you know Grayson. That doesn't happen because I never lived to see that day" she said looking back up at me.
"What?" I asked confused.
All of a sudden I wake up. It was just a dream. More like a nightmare.
It's been a month since Chloe has been on life support. Today her parents are taking her off of it and I couldn't be more upset.
Ethan and Emma were suppose to be on their honey moon but they're staying in New Jersey for a little longer. Just until our lives go back to normal. But I don't think that will be anytime soon.
I get out of bed and I go to the bathroom to take a shower and to get ready to go to the hospital.
After I finish getting ready I get into my car and I drove to the hospital.
I get to the hospital and I go to Chloe's room. I grab a chair and I sit next to her.
"Hey Chloe, it's me, Grayson. I just wanted to talk to you for a little bit. I want to get some things off of my chest. So I guess I'll start with 6 years before. When I met you I knew that I would love you forever. And I was right. I love you so god damn much. Whenever I see you you make me so happy. When I'm with you I feel whole. If I never met you I don't know what I would be doing with my life. You really changed me for the better and I love you for that. I'm going to miss you so much Chloe, please don't go" I said while crying. I'm looking down when all of a sudden I feel movement and I hear coughing noises.
I quickly get up and I see Chloe choking on the tubes. I quickly get the doctors and they come running in the room. I had to get out of the room and I looking though the window. What is happening?
I call her dad and him and Chloe's mom comes rushing in.
"What's going on?" Chloe's mom asked.
"I don't know. She's lying there while I'm talking to her and then she starts moving" I said.
"That's impossible" her dad said.
"I guess not. But I don't know what this means" I said looking through the window.
Moments went by when a doctor comes out of the room to talk to us.
"I have some good news for you guys" the doctor said.
"It looks like Chloe is out of coma. I don't know how though considering she was on life support. This never happens. It's impossible actually. (I have no idea what I'm talking about honestly)But she's a strong woman" he said with a smile.
Oh my god I couldn't be happier. She's awake, And alive.
"Can we go back into the room?" Her dad asks.
"You may" the Doctor said.
Chloe's parents come running in the room and gives Chloe the biggest hug I've ever seen. They're so happy. They're all crying and they continue to hug each other.
I slowly walk Into the room and I stand at the door way trying not to interrupt anything.
A couple goes by when Chloe finally sees me.
"Grayson" she softly says.
"Hey" I said with tears.
"We'll Leave You two alone" her mom says.
"Hey" She said with a big smile.
"Hi" I said.
Her smile gets bigger and she gets out of bed.
"Woah, Chloe you shouldn't get up" I said.
"I don't care. I'm here Grayson I'm here. I won't ever leave you again, I promise" she said and we connected our lips.
I've missed those lips so much. We move in sync and I could feels sparks between us. I have waited forever for this.
We pull away to get air when she speaks.
"I love you so much Grayson Dolan" She said out of Breath.
"I love you too Chloe Winters" I said with a big smile.
"I heard everything you said when I was in a coma" she said and sat back down on her bed.
"You could hear me?" I asked.
"Yah, I heard every word that you said to me. I could also feel your touch. Every day when you came I tried so hard to move. But I couldn't. I couldn't even move a muscle. All I wanted to do was hug you, but I could never do that and that drove me crazy" she said with a chuckle.
"You don't know how happy I am for you to be awake" I said and sat down next to her.
"I'm so sorry I hurt you" she said looking down and began to start crying.
"Hey, I'm the one who should apologize, I'm the one who hurt you" I said.
"I forgive you" she said and kissed my lips softly.
"Let's go home" I whispered
