Grayson's POV
It's been two weeks and nothing has changed with Chloe. I'm at the hospital every day sitting next to Chloe. I will never leave her again. I'm not making that mistake again. The doctor told me that if I keep talking to her it will help her wake up. I guess she can still hear things, she just can't respond to them. I've been trying everything I can but still nothing ever happens.
Nick came back to see her a couple of times but I never let him in. He doesn't deserve to see her. I know it's harsh but he caused this. If he never made that stupid call Chloe would have never gotten into that car crash.
you're probably wondering if the police ever caught the guy. And the answer is yes. He was caught three days later and he was put in jail for DUI and attempt murder. to be honest I don't think he should've gotten the last one. I mean she's still alive, but I guess it's because she's in a coma, I don't know.

Chloe's POV
Everything is still dark I don't know what day is it. I'm in the hospital and I heard from the doctors that I'm in a medical coma. I hear people talk all the time. Mostly Grayson. He has been with me all the time. Except when visiting hours are over.
It feels like forever since I've seen him. I heard. Nick couple of times but whenever he comes Grayson is always here with me and he tells Nick to go away. I'm glad that he is doing this for me but I also would like to hear what Nick has to say. I guess I'll just have to wait.
"Hey Chloe" I heard Grayson say. I heard something scrap against the floor so I'm guessing he grabbed a chair and sat down.
"I thought I'd give you some news. I talked to the doctor and he said that you're getting better! I'm so happy about that. Oh! Today is December 16th. Do you know what that means? It's me and Ethan's birthday today. We turn 24 today. I wish you were awake so that we could celebrate together. But as long as I'm sitting with you today it'll be fine. Ethan told me that he will be coming in soon with Emma. I know that you guys haven't spoken to each other in a while and she really wanted to see you. Sadly it's like this but I know that you will wake up soon" he said with a cheerful voice.
I don't want him to get his hopes to high because I don't know if or how I can wake up soon. I don't want to let him down.
