Julie Williams"I might be wearing a hearing aid but I can
still hear your bitchin'."

It was the summer before Julie would start medical school.
She'd just gotten a promotion at the café she worked at part-time.
Even put a down payment on a new apartment.
Julie couldn't have asked for a better life.
She remembers the last call she got was from her Dad, reminding her not to forget that her flight home was at 4:30 that afternoon.
Now, sitting on a lawn chair on top of an old RV with a pair of binoculars in her hands and a rifle on her lap, Julie ponders over the sudden apocalypse that's interrupted the fabric of humanity as everyone who was still alive knew it.
But hey, at least she wasn't stuck on laundry duty.
