"This is such a bad idea."

I mumbled under my breath as Glenn and I leaned against the broken down Camaro.

It had already been an eventful morning. From the intrusion of a rouge walker, to the rambunctious take down of Daryl Dixon. I expected nothing less from Daryl when Rick and Shane had to put him in a choke hold after explaining the whereabouts of his older brother.

Well, actually maybe I expected more.

Now, Rick was walking out of his tent in his freshly washed officers uniform about to embark on a rescue mission to save Merle Dixon.

"So you and Daryl, that's your big plan?"

Lori asked her husband and before she could say anything else, Rick turned around to look at Glenn.

I looked over at my best friend in confusion as he let out a groan. "Oh, come on."

I raised my eyebrows in surprise and stood in front of Glenn to direct Rick's attention towards me.

"No. No way is he going back out there." Glenn placed a hand on my shoulder. "Julie..." I turned around to look at Glenn and he shrugged his shoulders in defeat, already accepting the fact he was needed for this rescue mission.

"Hell no! Are you kidding me? You guys almost died last time!"

Rick cleared his throat and I turned around to glare at the officer behind me.

"Julie. Glenn knows the way. He's even said that he's been in and out, no problem." He hesitantly stepped closer and gave me a look of desperation. "It's not fair of me to ask...I know that." Rick then looked over my shoulder at Glenn. "but I'd feel a lot better with you along. I know she would too." He gestured over to Lori.

I continued to glare at the officer and pursed my lips in frustration, knowing both men had already come to a decision.

"That's just great. Now you're gonna risk three men, huh?" Shane commented with a sour look over his face.

"Four." T-Dog spoke up.

Daryl let out a grunt as he cleaned his arrows.

"My day just gets better and better, don't it?"

I scoff at the redneck before looking at Glenn.

"You know you don't have to do this right? They can't make you risk your life." I spoke quietly under my breath, pleading with him at this point to understand.

But before he could answer, Rick mentioned something to quickly divert Glenn's attention.

"Right, the guns."

"What guns?" Shane and I said at the same time.

"Six shotguns, two high-powered rifles, over a dozen handguns. I cleaned out the cage back at the station before I left. I dropped the bag in Atlanta when I got swarmed. It's just sitting there on the street, waiting to be picked up." Rick explained to Shane, but it caught the attention of most of the nearby campers.

"How much ammo?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest.

"700 rounds, assorted." My eyes grew wide thinking about all that man power.

Everyones facial expression indicated how they were all seeming to have second thoughts on this rescue mission, admittedly myself included, until Lori spoke up.

"You went through hell to find us. You just got here and you're gonna turn around and leave?"

"Dad, I don't want you to go." Carl admitted, looking at his father with fearful eyes.
