Note: A friend of mine and I are doing a small collab, my character as an author will be in her story, and she will be in mine. (Her image is above) Check her out as well, she's a good author. <3 DarkProfession

"I'll be substituting for Mr. Ikezawa until he returns, unfortunately he's come down with a cold."

There the woman was, mysterious and beautiful, rather elegant too. She had dark purple hair and eyes, the men in your class could barely keep their hormones in control.

"Whoa, she's hot! I wish she could stay with us for the rest of the year!" After one male's outbreak, others joined in, but she was quick to hush them up.

"Enough, class. I teach at a college, so that would be impossible anyway." Turning her back to everyone, she picked up the distorted piece of white chalk, writing on the board. After that, she sat it down, pushing up her glasses.

"I am Professor Dark, it's nice to meet you all. Call me what you'd like, as long as it's appropriate."

You stood up out your seat, gathering everyone's attention. "Kair— I mean Mr. Ikezawa told me he felt better yesterday, he's not a liar."

"Oh," The Professor began to walk towards you, looking down at her clip board just for a second. She leaned in to observe your facial features, adjusting her glasses on the arch of her nose.

"I'm assuming you are Miss (F/N)(L/N)? I visited his house last night, and he said he still felt sick." Her pen began to dance on the paper being restrained on the wood, tearing off the edge of the paper.

It was a note, and it read,

"Meet me after class."

You sat down, Kaito behind you tilted his head, wondering what the note said. Though he had many questions besides that one.

You felt a tap on your shoulder, turning around to glance at the male who wanted your attention. "What is it?" You asked, watching as he parted his lips.

He inhaled before he mustered out an, "Why", before stopping himself. "It's nothing, I'll ask you later." Kaito then turned to face the widow, erasing your presence.

You turned back around to pay more attention to the substitute, shrugging. 'He's the one who wanted to know something... that was just rude.'

As she began to go over the lesson, you rested your cheek on your palm, thinking of how Kairi was doing. It was probably inappropriate to be thinking of a teacher, but you still did.

"Did you forget about the note I gave you already?" The woman spoke, crossing her arms in disappointment.

You on the other hand knew full well you had to stay back to speak to her, but tried to tip toe out. Once you heard her elegant voice ring in your ears, you stopped, turning around.

"Oh... right, I'm sorry..." You nervously rubbed the nape of your neck, looking away as she approached.

"You do realize Mr. Ikezawa and I are getting married right?" A part of you broke after hearing those words, but you were also happy for them.

"Congratulations! Why are you even telling me this?" You asked, the woman leaning in even closer. "I know you've been seeing him recently, so I'm telling you not to get in our way."

Who knew a woman like her could stare so coldly at a student, it was almost threatening.

"Wha— you got the wrong idea! Kairi is Kaito's older brother, and we've been friends ever since we were kids. I can't stop worrying about him even if I wanted to!"

"Oh? So what does that mean?" She asked.

"It means that we aren't doing anything that'd make you anxious! Gosh, this was a waste of time." You slipped away, adjusting your bag around your shoulder. "I'm going to check on him tonight, I doubt you can stop me."

With a huff, you walked out, slightly irritated. It seemed like everyone was on edge, and out to get you recently. "Hey." You turned your head right, seeing Kaito leaned on the wall next to the classroom.

"Do you eavesdrop all the time? I guess that's something that'll never—"

"You're not going to see Kairi, I forbid you to. He's not a nice person, he'll try something with you." First he cuts you off then tells you not to see his own brother, how rude.

You scoffed as he approached, crossing your arms. "Kai, do you hear yourself? He's your brother, none of you are looking after him, so I might as well. I think you've mistaken the good from bad, maybe you're not the nice person I thought you were."

Before he could get any closer, you walked away, heading to your next class. All of this was stressing, hopefully you could catch a breather during lunch.

"(Y/N)? With a book? This is definitely a sight for sore eyes." Tsukishims teased, though you were still immersed into the leather square full of pages.

"Oi." He called out, walking towards you. The wind along with the shower of rays made the roof a comfortable place, somewhere Tsukishima enjoyed to go also.

He tipped down your book, crouching to meet your gaze as he did this. "Hm?"

Your cheeks tinted pink, closing the book. You stare landed on him, wondering what he wanted.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked, stealing a seat next to you. "It's not like you to pick up books, especially ones that say: How to find a Stalker. Is it interesting?"

You clicked your teeth, setting down the book. "Oh shush, is it for your information. Why are you here?"

"Why are you here?"

"I asked you first."

"I asked you second."

Your brow twitched, and sighed, finally giving in. "I'm here because I like it here, what about you?" You asked, turning your attention to the sky.

"Oh, I come up here whenever you're here so I can stalk you." He knew you were paranoid, he just wanted to watch you freak out even more.

"Don't joke like that... It's actually really weird..." You cooed, listening to him chuckle beside you. "I know, I like scaring you. How's your mom?" His question surprised you, trying to think of a response.

"My mom... well she's been with her boyfriend recently, so I haven't been speaking with her much." You responded, placing your book into your bag.

"So she won't be showing up at the festival?" His dull voice sent a shiver down your spine, shaking your head shortly afterwards.

"Nope, and I don't really care much! As long as If you're there then I don't have to." You smiled, taking the male by the arm teasingly. He seemed not to mind, but shrugged you away.

"Liar." He whispered, standing up shortly afterwards. "But I hope you don't ditch me for Kairi this time. I'm surprised I'm actually agreeing to go to some festival with a girl I don't even like."

Your eyes lit up, hugging Tsukishima's leg. "I promise I'll make New Years fun! I won't let you down!" He chuckled, patting your head. This threw your emotions into a frenzy.

"Yeah, sure short stuff. Let go of me would ya? I don't want my clothing to get dirty." You gladly released him, ignoring his unnecessary insult.

Your heart jumped up and around, feeling blessed by a god watching over you. Never did you think this day would actually come, fate sure proved you wrong.

"Oh god, what should I wear? Something modern and laid back or something flashy and fun? Maybe I should go shopping..."

The bell rung, so you hurried and packed up your belongings. One more class left, then you could visit Kairi.
