Soundless but for the shivering flakes, and yet still life succeeds in the lichen and the rabbits and the prowling felines. Carving out an existence in one of the harshest climates of the world is the Tribe of Jagged Peaks.

But the tribe's problems are growing, not from the environment, but from the inside. The untimely death of the well-liked agent has resulted in deep political turmoil, and every cat must pick a side.
