My Secret Affair

Starting school

Sophomore year

Carter was hardly around because after she was born he got a job so he was always working and finishing his Junior year while I stayed home with Juniper, after work he would sometimes come over and stay the night well one morning when I got up Carter was acting strangely.

When Juniper was a month old I had gotten a message from my ex-boyfriend Mitch and we started texting each other and when Carter found out he was pissed and we argued and ever since then he hasn't been coming around and everyone has noticed.

One night I had put Juniper to bed when my phone buzzed I saw that it was Mitch " hey I was wondering if we could see each other tomorrow?" so I had gotten up and went to ask my parents if they could watch Juniper for a while tomorrow afternoon and they said yes so I text Mitch and told him that I would meet him.

So right before I let I feed Juniper and then walked to the burger house, when I walked in Mitch gave me a hug, we sat down and ordered after that we started talking and it felt like nothing had changed and I enjoyed it.

We would meet every couple of days and we would just talk one day he asked if I wanted to bring Juniper I can so I did, he enjoyed hold her and even talking to her, later that day I called Carter to see if he was going to come over but he said he was busy.

A month later Mitch, Juniper and I would hang out at the park and enjoy the summer, Carter came around every Sunday and would stay for three hours and then would leave, one day Juniper and I were sitting on the couch when my mom walked in "come on lets go." she wouldn't tell me where we were going until we got to the mall "let's get some school clothes.

The summer was ending and I was starting my sophomore year and Juniper was going to be going to daycare, Juniper was three months old, the day before school started I asked Carter if he could take me and Juniper tomorrow but since school was starting and that meant football season was starting so they were having morning and after-school practice.

Right before I was going to bed Mitch called "hey so I can give you and Juniper a ride tomorrow if you want" I, of course, said yes, we hung up and then I went to tell my parents about Mitch giving us a ride.

In the morning I got my bag and the diaper bag ready and my dad got the car seat out for me and I put Juniper in it and waited for Mitch to come, he got there right at 7:30 and we got to the daycare and dropped off Juniper and went to school.

When we got out of the car everyone turned and looked at us then again Mitch got arrest in class and I went into labor last year " I don't think Carter is going to like that," I just nodded and went our separate ways, after homeroom we found out that we had the some of the same classes and lunch, when we walk to math I could tell people were whispering about us and I knew Carter would find out.

At lunch, Carter had to text me asking why people have been telling him about Mitch and me I didn't say anything I just told him that we would talk about that later, the rest of the day went by fast next thing I knew it was time to pick up Juniper from daycare.

After dinner, Carter came over and we sat in my room " so I know we didn't see each other today but I was wondering why people kept telling me that they saw you and Mitch walking and talking together?" I turned and looked at him " he gave us a ride and we have a couple of classes together." Cater had a confused look on his face " since when did you and Mitch start hanging out again?"

Well a couple of weeks ago he messaged me and we started talking and last night if asked if I wanted a ride to school so I said yes," he didn't say anything so we just sat there until his phone rang and he got up to leave.

When I got back inside Juniper was just waking up so I started feeding her and texting Mitch, finally Juniper went to sleep so I put her in her crib and went to my room and took a shower then I went to bed.

The week went by slow then it was Saturday and I tried to call Carter to see if he wanted to go to the park with juniper and me but he didn't answer so we went alone until Mitch had called asked if I wanted to go grab some lunch so I went back home and got Juniper's car seat and we waited.
