My Secret Affair

Since Carter and I broke up Mitch and I started dating, I haven't heard from Carter since that night we broke up I understand he is busy but he also has another child.

One day when I was off from work Mitch had text asking if we wanted to go to the beach, so I packed the diaper bag and the snacks, while we were on the road Juniper fell asleep when Mitch spoke up "so have you heard from Carter?" I shook my head no, " it just sucks that he is being a crappy dad just because he has another baby," Mitch grabbed my hand and kissed it " one day he will regret it."

We Finally got to the beach I took Juniper to get changed into her bathing suit, Juniper and Mitch were playing in the water and I was watching them until I got up and joined them, Juniper tried to drink the water a couple of times and she got mad when we stopped her.

We stayed until it got dark and halfway home we stopped and got dinner and then when we got home I found a note that my parents were going to dinner so Mitch stayed with me until they got home after I got Juniper to sleep I called Mitch and we talked until we started falling asleep.

The next morning my mom had asked if they could have Juniper for the day I nodded my head yes and went and got Juniper ready once they left I fell back to sleep and didn't wake up till one and saw that I had three missed calls and four texts from Mitch.

I saw that he was outside I opened the door and he walked in "so I tried calling and texting and when you didn't answer I got worried and came over here." he looked around the room and noticed that I was alone "where are your parents and Juniper?" I shrugged my shoulders.

"Well since they are gone do you want to go out and do something?" I nodded my head and we went to my room so that I could shower and get ready, I had put on a tank top and black shorts with sandals and we went to the movies and after that, we went to get something to eat when we saw Carter and Audrey.

Mitch saw where I was looking and he looked a little pissed but I knew he wouldn't do anything Carter in the other hand walked over to us,"where is Juniper?" I looked at Mitch and Audrey who both looked uncomfortable "my parents took her for the day," he just rolled his eyes at me and they walked away.

"That was awkward" I just nodded my head and we went back to eating and talking about summer and life once we paid and went home, my parents still hadn't gotten back Mitch and I went to my room to watch a movie,we had been watching the movie for a while when Mitch spoke up.

"I never personally thanked you for taking the drugs from my locker freshman year" I turned and looked at him "how did you know?" he chucked "you were the only one who knew my locker combo."

I smiled "I still had feelings for you and I didn't want you to get expelled, we laid there for a while until my phone beeped and I saw that my mom text me saying that they were staying the night.

So we went to his house and when we got there his parents were asleep when we got there so we went to his room and we put a movie on and made out and did other things.

We didn't wake up till 2 and I had a missed call from my mom so I took a shower and when I walked into Mitch's room he had a cupcake for me, I was a little confused and Mitch noticed and started laughing "did you really forget that today was your 17th birthday."

I just smiled and nodded my head he took me out for a birthday lunch and then we went to my house when I opened the door my family jumped out yelling "surprise!" I was happy to see my family epically my baby.

Everyone was talking and eating cake when my brother walked up to me "so a couple weeks ago I got a call from Mitch and he told me that he wanted to have a surprise party for you."

I hugged my brother and went to look for Mitch and Juniper when I couldn't find them I went to Juniper's room and saw Mitch reading to her, once he was done he put her in her crib and we walked into the hallway "happy birthday sweetie."
