My Secret Affair

The Holiday and a talk with my parents.

During Christmas break I helped Tim and Jim clear out the store,my morning sickness was in full effect the past week.

Since my dad took my car when he kicked me out Mitch has been taking me to and from work and then going to work,when I got into his truck he gave me a ginger ale and some crackers.

I kissed him and asked him about his day while he was talking to me I got a reminder text for my doctors appointment tomorrow and told him,we picked up Juniper and he took us back to his house and then he went to work.

I was helping Sandra with dinner when she turned and looked at me "Saul and I were wondering what you and Mitch plan on doing with the baby?" I looked at my stomach where our baby was growing "what do you mean?"

Sandra stopped cutting the carrots and turned and looked at me "are y'all planning on doing adoption or keeping the baby because if y'all are planning on keeping the baby then we need to sit down and talk about some things!"
I nodded my head and we finished making dinner.

While I was giving Juniper a bath I started to think if I could raise two kids while still being high school,I knew I needed to talk to Mitch when he got home from work,but I fell asleep before he got home.

We woke and took Juniper to daycare and went to my doctors appointment,while we were waiting for them to call us back "do you think that we should keep the baby or do adoption?"Mitch turned and looked at me "let's talk about it later."

They called us back and took some information and then sent me to the room to wait for the doctor,I looked at Mitch "are you okay?"he just looked at me and nodded,something was bothering him but he wouldn't tell me.

Before I could say anything the doctor walked in,she had me lay down she pulled up my shirt and checked my stomach "right now we are going to check on the baby and based on the information you provided you should be about 10weeks."
She got the ultrasound wand and started to check for the baby after a couple of minutes she pointed to the screen "that little blob is your baby!"I looked at Mitch and he seemed distracted,my appointment finished up and we were in his truck when he looked at me "I think we should do adoption!"

I was in shock so I didn't say anything the whole ride to the bookstore,I was packing up the books that hadn't sold so they could donate them to the library,I was thinking about what Mitch had said I didn't hear my mom walk up to me until she said my name.
"Mom hi what are you doing here?"I looked around expecting to see my dad "well dad and I were talking and we think you should come home and dad isn't mad anymore he was just in shock,I thought about it and nodded my head "I'll be home after work."

Mitch didn't say anything when he picked me up "my parents want me to come back home tonight!"he just nodded "that would be a good idea," we picked up Juniper and went back to his place and I packed our things and then  he took us home.

When I walked inside my parents called  me into the living room so I put Juniper on the floor to play with her toys while I sat on the couch.
"Have you and Mitch come up with a plan about the baby?" I nodded my head I felt the tears going down my cheek "Mitch thinks we should adoption!"I was full on crying now and my mom came and held me while I cried.
Suddenly my dad spoke up "do you want to keep the baby?" I looked at Juniper and nodded my head " I know it's going to be really hard but I can do it!"my dad just nodded his head and went to his home office.

I was confused until my mom spoke up "the baby and Juniper can share a room  and you will finish high school and graduate after that you will go to community college, you have mostly raised Juniper by your self and If Mitch doesn't want to be involved you can also raise the baby by yourself.

later that night I called Mitch and told him I wanted to keep the baby he just sighed "I think we should take some time apart to think about it!"with that he hung up and I laid on my bed and cried.

Since Mitch's and I weren't together I didn't give him his Christmas present I just put it in the back of my closet,my brother was coming down was bringing his new girlfriend,I didn't know if my parents told him about the baby.

I was still having morning sickness and the smell of chicken would make me nauseous and unfortunately that is my brother's favorite meal so my mother made it for him, his girlfriend would dip her chicken in ranch and that smell was making me nauseous so I was having to breathe threw my nose and my brother looked at me funny.

Later that night I had gotten Juniper to bed when my brother knocked on the door "can we go for a ride I want to talk to you about some things?" I nodded my head and went to ask my parents if they would keep an eye on Juniper for me.

My brother decided to take my car,we had stopped and got ice cream and parked "I'm going to ask Melanie to marry me  on Christmas Eve!"I just nodded my head she seems okay.
"Mom told me that you are pregnant again by Mitch this time!"I nodded my head "yup 10 weeks and three day," he shook his head and we finished out ice creams and we took off towards home.

when we got to stop light He turned to me "I understand  the first time unexpectedly getting pregnant but you have a one year old and your still in high school and going to have another,didn't mom put you on birth control after Juniper was born?"

"Yes she did and I missed a pill and,"I didn't get to finish my sentence and the next thing I remember was waking up in the hospital "I saw my mom sitting next to my bed and she had been crying.

"Mom what's wrong is everything okay with Juniper or Logan?"my mom just shook her head "they are at home with dad "what happened?" My mom started crying "a drunk driver hit your side of the car and you have been unconscious for three days and I'm sorry you lost the baby!"

I also broke my right leg "does Mitch know?"my mom nodded her head we told him and he came by to check on you after it happened and he knows about the baby."

I was released Christmas Eve  and since my leg was broken I couldn't go up the stairs so I was on the sofa when Mitch walked in "hey I'm sorry about the baby."

It was still to much to process "what are you doing here we broke up remember?" Mitch looked down "I know I just wanted to see how you were doing!"  I nodded my head "well I'm fine now you can go!"

Mitch didn't say anything and then my family walked into the living room so we could open some presents, Logan had proposed to Melanie and she said yes,I was happy for them I just was sad about the baby and the brake up.

For Christmas Juniper got a new swing set from my parents and my brother and Melanie got a toy car that she can be pushed in and I got Juniper a Minnie Mouse toddler bed.
