My Secret Affair

It had been two months since Mitch and I spoke, things with Carter have been going too well, Aubrey found out that she was having a boy since Carter was starting to get more involved with Juniper he started staying overnights twice a week.

One night while Carter was asleep my phone rang and I saw that it was from Mitch I went to the living room " why are you calling me so late?" he was quiet for a while "I just wanted to hear your voice and I wanted to tell you that I miss you and I'm sorry about everything." after that we hung up and I went back to my room.

The next day when Carter and I got to school I saw Mitch talking to some of his old friends, Carter stopped walking and looked at his phone "I forgot a paper that I needed for history," so he got to his car and left, so I started walking to class by myself until I heard Mitch calling my name so I stopped walking and he ran right into me causing both of us to fall.

He helped me up and we went to class, the next period I got a text from him asking me to meet him by the bathroom so I asked Mrs. Thomas if I could go to the bathroom, when I got to the bathroom Mitch was standing by the water fountain when I got close to him he kissed me "I've missed this" I nodded and we pulled apart and went back to class.

Today was Juniper's first birthday and since it was a Friday I didn't go to school, I tried to call Carter to see if he wanted to do something with us but he didn't answer and it was getting annoying but I couldn't do anything about it.

It was ten when Juniper and I woke up and I saw that I had three missed calls from Mitch when I called him back he asked where I was and I told him that I wasn't going to school today and that I was spending the day with Juniper so we hung up I went downstairs to make breakfast when everything was done Juniper and I was about to sit down when the doorbell rang.

When I opened the door I saw that it was Mitch and he had a balloon and a stuffed animal " I figured that Juniper's first birthday was more important than school," so I invited him to hang out with us for the day, once we were done we decided to go to the zoo.

After the zoo we went back to my house where my parents and Mitch's parents were at the table with a cake, I was happy that they did that for her, once we ate the cake we opened some of the presents that they got for her, later that night I was laying with Juniper and I was just amazed by how much she has grown in the last year.

Carter didn't bother to call her, A couple of days later we were at school.
