A couple of minutes later Mitch pulled up in his new truck we got in a went to Paul's Pizza and when we sat down several people turned and looked at us Mitch looked around " do you get those looks a lot?" I swallowed my soda "yea."

Later that night Juniper was screaming and crying nothing me or my parents did calm her down so I tried calling Carter but he didn't answer, so my parents went to bed and I was trying to get her to sleep when Mitch called me when I answered her heard her crying "is everything okay?" I told him no that she wasn't feeling well, so he hung up and came over.

When he got to Juniper's room he picked her up and started rocking her soon she fell right to sleep I just looked at him " I tried that several times," he just smiled at me and tried to put her down but the moment she felt her crib she woke up and started crying so we took her to my room and we put Netflix on and somehow we fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning to someone banging on my room door since I didn't want whoever it was to wake up Juniper I got up, when I opened the door I saw a very mad Carter who looked passed me and saw Mitch and Juniper asleep on my bed " what the F*** is he doing here and why is he holding our daughter?" I turned and saw Mitch on my bed.

Juniper wasn't feeling well last night and I tried calling you but you didn't answer so I asked Mitch to help and he came over and he got her to sleep.

He didn't say anything, he just turned and walked out the door so I went to check on Juniper and wake Mitch up so he could to school, " you know if you ever need someone to watch her Sandra said she would watch if you want?" I thought about it I really couldn't afford to miss school right now " do you think she would mind watching her today on such a short notice?" he walked out of the room to call her.

He walked in and gave me a thumbs up and I started getting her and myself ready,ten minutes later we pulled up to his house, while he was changing I was telling Sandra when to feed her, shortly after that we took off for school, when we got there everyone turned and looked at us.

After school we were in his truck " so is every night like that?" I shook my head " she normally wakes up twice to eat and then goes back to bed," he just nodded "my mom text me and said she just went down for a nap!' I smiled "let's get something to eat."

After we ordered we sat down when Mitch spoke up " do you think if we ever met at a different time then things would be different?" I nodded my head " I have been thinking about that a lot lately, we finished our food and went to get Juniper when we walked inside Juniper was waking up so I thanked Sandra and we left.

When we pulled up to the house and we were sitting there I turned to Mitch and we kissed I missed the way his lips felt after we made out for a while we just smiled " I missed your kisses," he smiled "she never kissed me the way you do," after he said that my smile fell and I got out of the truck and got Juniper, right before I walked into the house he stopped me " sorry I know you don't like talking about her."

That girl had caused a lot of problems with us but in the end, it was his choice, when he saw that I wasn't mad he smiled at me " do you think I can see you tonight?" I shrugged my shoulder " I have to see, when we got in the house my mom called me into the kitchen so I put Juniper in her playpen and went into the kitchen to help my mom.

While we were peeling potatoes when my mom spoke up " so I noticed that Mitch has been hanging around a lot lately what does Carter think of that?" I shrugged my shoulder " even before Mitch came back Carter wasn't around much and plus Mitch and I had been friends in middle school so just because we dated doesn't mean we can't be friends."

We had finished peeling potatoes and my mom started cooking so I took Juniper to my room and I was doing my homework while she was in her bouncer, I had been thinking about what Mitch said so I called Carter and asked if I wanted to have Juniper for the night and he said yes.

he would get her around seven so I gave her a bath and fed her  and got her bag ready.
