Smriti's POV-

Today is Friday, the day of my engagement with Mr Grey and I am still confused about what exactly I want. I mean, I don't have an option of having second thoughts, but still, a girl can think right?

" Okay Smriti, calm down. It's gonna be fine." I consoled myself.

" Smriti, if you are done with talking to yourself, go and get ready. Mia will be here in sometime to take you to the salon. Mansi and Sunaina will go along with you too." Mumma said.

I groaned.

" Stop making weird noises and take bath." Mumma instructed.

I rolled my eyes and then went to the washroom.

Within 20 minutes, I was done and ready. Mansi and Sunaina were in the waiting area.

" Smriti, Mia is waiting for us outside. Let's go." Sunaina said.

" Okay." I said and we went out.

We all greeted Mia and she drove.

" Let's get pampered ladies!" Mia exclaimed as we made our way inside.

We spent around 4 freaking hours there. This is the first time I have spent more than 1 hour in a salon let alone getting all these weird things on me!

" We are done here." Mia said.

" Finally!" I exclaimed.

She rolled her eyes.

" Now everything is done. Let me drop you guys to the hotel. There, one person is waiting for you to do your hair and make up before you put on your engagement dress. Remember, you just have 2 hours to get ready." Mia instructed.

" In 2 hours, I can get dressed and undress 20 times. It is more than enough." I said.

Mansi and Sunaina nodded with me.

" Oh my gosh woman! It is your engagement. At least try and put some efforts!" Mia said dramatically.

Now it was my turn to roll eyes.

" Mia, you don't worry. I will let that man do whatever he wants to with my hair and make up. I trust you enough that you will not make me look like a clown." I said.

" Okay. Now let's get started for the hotel." Mansi said.

We did so.

" Mia, please tell me that there are less people coming for the engagement." I said.

" Yes, only a few are invited." She said.

I nodded thankfully and she chuckled.

We reached the hotel where I saw all the Grey's in attendance.

" Finally you girls are here." Grace said as soon as she saw us.

" Is there a problem mom?" Mia asked Mrs Grey.

" Mia, the dress you all had purchased for Smriti is torn from the back. It is unwearable." Grace said.

" Oh my god! We are huge fools! How come we didn't check before buying?" Mansi exclaimed.

" I have an idea." Grandma said.

" What is it Grandma?" Christian asked.

" Smriti can wear the saree that I had worn for my engagement." She said.

" That is a good idea!" Mumma said.

" Yes, this way we can have a fusion of India and the States." Mia exclaimed.
