It was a Wednesday afternoon and Natasha was curled up on the couch in one of James's shirts. She knew no one would question it because she stole clothes from all of them, one of the perks of being small.

James and Steve were out on mission and Clint had gone back to the farm claiming he needed to spend more time as a dad and less time as an avenger. Tony was off doing who knows what with a kid from Queens and Bruce and Thor had disappeared.

It was a slow day, outside the weather was a nasty drizzly rain. Natasha was quite content to just sit and read her book. That is until she smelt something in the kitchen. She wandered over to figure out what was going on. Wanda and Vision were talking and laughing whilst Wanda skipped about the kitchen collecting ingredients and instructing Vision on when to stir and add the different stuff.

Natasha had never seen Vision laugh before, she thought it was impossible but here he was. She smiled to herself and crept off without them noticing. She headed towards the gym where an argument had broken out between Rhodey and Sam. She coughed loudly, gaining their attention.

"Yo Nat which is better right, the Falcon suit or the War Machine suit." Both looked at her expectantly. She pondered over it.
"Well the Falcon is more original, but the War Machine is more protective. I think they both have flaws and that you shouldn't rely on just your suits, now square up." She nodded her head to the ring.
"Yes ma'am,"
"Watch it Wilson."
"So we go against each other?" Rhodey looked at Sam and he shrugged. They both got into position and circled each other.

"C'mon ladies we don't have all day." Natasha was watching them and she nodded approvingly as Rhodey moved in close and threw a punch at Sam's face whilst trying to kick his knee in. Sam backed up and then retaliated with a kick to the chest and then a right hook.

They were good, both powerful and fast however, they were clearly military trained. The moves were all pretty basic and head on rather than sneaky and subtle. Natasha rang the bell on the side and ducked into the ring. They both stood on one side and she faced them. She got into position and motioned for them to do the same. They looked between each other nervously.

"Both of us, at the same time? Is that a good idea?"
"Hmm, you're right, maybe you should get back up?" She teased and Rhodey chuckled. Sam looked at him.
"Dude, I don't think she was joking. She can take down Barton, Cap and Bucky."
"Not at the same time she can't."
"You're missing the point man."

Natasha sighed and beckoned them forward. She nodded once and they both leapt at her. She ducked a swing from Sam and twisted Rhodey's hand, using him as leverage to wrap her thighs around Sam's neck and put her weight on the fall, he landed on his back and she had him pinned.

Rhodey rushed at her in a tackle and she pushed herself up and used his momentum to flip him over her shoulder. He lay gasping next to Sam as she stood up and brushed off her pants. "Keep working boys, learn to play dirty and analyse their weaknesses." She left the ring as they picked themselves up.

She watched as they went at it again before leaving in search of her book. She circled back round to the lounge and spotted her book. Unfortunately it was wedged between the cushions of the couch that Wanda and Vision were sitting on. They seemed to be sharing an intimate moment, with Wanda's hand on Visions knee as they stared into each other's eyes.

Natasha backed out awkwardly and decided to head to the shooting range, until she remembered that a cadet lesson was scheduled there today. Sighing she went back to her room, she would get another book and go to the other lounge. Or maybe she would just go to the movie room and watch something, perhaps she might challenge the guys to a drinking contest.
