As I gaze upon my sister and my two wives Kameela and Khadija who sat next to me and my Kids yusrah,Abdul of Kameela and yasmeen,Imran of khadija, I could see nothing but tears raining down their eyes as They held me, I knew I have come to the end of the road, My only regret was not been able to see my kids grow up. It is said that on the verge of death, your whole life flashes right before your very eyes well that couldn't be more true, for as I lay on the Hospital bed barely kept alive by the life support i was hooked up to, I reflect on a very important part of my Life from seven years ago that defined me as a person.
SEVEN YEARS AGO
As I was called to come down and Have breakfast with the rest of The family downstairs I felt reluctant too seeing as I had a bit of An Argument with mother last night Before going To bed, not that I remember much of the details but I know she's all over it by now,as the first son and child of the family onus was on me to always be at my Best and always do the right things so my younger ones can emulate it, I couldn't let loose or my Younger ones would do the same too ,always said my Dad. I was snapped back to reality from my story by the princess of The house my kid sister who offered me Breakfast with her devious smile. She's the only girl in the house after we lost our little girl to an unknown ailment years ago so she enjoys certain privileges.
So I should probably get back to my Story, after breakfast I took a warm bath and headed for my Friends house on my way there I got a call from an unknown number, as I answered it, a girl spoke with unease in her voice how are you am sorry for your loss. At that time I knew it was a misplaced call so I stopped her and said sorry miss It's a wrong number.
She hung up the call and called back in an attempt to get her friend this time but my phone rang again and again, she was forced to apologise as she didn't know why she'll call and my phone will ring, why don't you try reaching her through her brothers or sisters and she welcomed the idea and she thanked me and I hung up.
later that night I called her and asked if she's gotten through to her friend but she seemed to have forgotten who I was, so I jogged her memories back to this morning when we spoke over the phone and she grasped, she did get in touch with her friend thanks to my advice and she told me why she was desperate To talk to her that morning, so we exchanged names and bid ourselves good night. of course I could tell from the way she talked to me she wasn't gonna be interested in knowing Me after That last phone call.
