"What Is Life Without Difficulties?"

Rosalie practically lived at Pop's Diner, she was always there, whether it was for work, or to see the man who saved her life.

Pop Tate saved Rosalie's life by giving her food, in return she worked for him without pay. Pop loved Rosalie, that was no lie and everyone knew it. Though not many were aware just how much he had done, and continued to do for the young girl. Rosalie was his family and he was hers.

Rosalie knew the regulars, such as Jughead Jones, a boy from her school. She wasn't his friend, far from it, though she was civil with him.

Another regular was Archie Andrews, Rosalie's ex boyfriend.

The 'Rochie' break up was unexpected, they seemed happy, and they were. They both cared deeply for the other, though not the way they should. They remained close friends, something that surprised everyone.

Archie was the first person Rosalie went to when she was informed her best friend had drowned. Archie was one of the few people who had ever seen her cry. Of course her parents had seen her cry, they just didn't care.

A frown was on Rosalie's face as she thought of all the recent events.

"You're going to hurt yourself if you keep thinking so hard" she heard a familiar voice speak.

A small smirk appeared on her face as she turned to the person. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the handsome, Archie Andrews. I feel honoured to have you in my presence."

Archie chuckled. "How have you been?" "It's a struggle, but what is life without difficulties?" she replied with a shrug.

"I'm glad to see you're doing okay" Archie said smiling at her.

He looked over her shoulder and saw Betty. "I have to go. I'm meeting someone." "Another girl already? I'm offended" she joked. "I'll bring you some drinks." She gave his shoulder a gentle squeeze before going behind the counter.

Once Rosalie was behind the counter she started making two of her special milkshakes.

She had her own shakes she created after she was experimenting. She had one called the 'Rochie', it was Strawberry and Chocolate, the Strawberry represented Archie, while the Chocolate was Rosalie.

She had another milkshake, it was Strawberry and Banana. She didn't make that one herself, she had help from Jason. Jason added the Strawberries, due to his hair, while the Banana side was Rosalie, due to her being 'bananas', a phrase Jason often called her.

The Roson was retired after finding out about Jason's death. She couldn't make it anymore, not without thinking of her dead best friend.

After she made the drinks Rosalie took them over to Archie and Betty.

"Two of my special milkshakes." She put the shakes down on the table, not noticing the slight glare she was receiving from Betty.

Archie grinned as he looked at the drink. "This isn't-" "-It is, now drink it. You too Mini Cooper, drink up" Rosalie encouraged her.

Betty took a sip of the drink and smiled. "It's really nice." "Of course it is, it's a Rochie" Rosalie replied. "A Rochie?" Betty was confused. Why was she given a drink with their ship name?

"I'll leave you two to enjoy the wonderful magic of Rochie." Rosalie winked before she went to serve other people.

When Rosalie arrived behind the counter Pop smiled at her. "I'm glad you're still friends with him. He's a good kid" he told her causing her to smile. "He's been a saint. He's the only other person I trust, aside from you of course."

Rosalie was humming a song when she noticed a girl with black hair enter the Diner. She paid no attention to the girl after that.

The bell rang from the kitchen, informing Rosalie of a new order. "Order for Lodge" she called out. The girl with black hair went over to her.

"That's me." "Here is your order." Rosalie gave her the bag filled with food. The girl thanked her as she handed over the money. "I hope you enjoy, please come back again" Rosalie said with a smile.

Rosalie paid no attention to the Raven haired beauty who left the Diner.

She was unaware of the drastic change that was going to occur, all because of that one girl, Veronica Lodge.
