"They'll Realise You're No Good For Them, Just Like Jason Did."

The Diner wasn't busy, though it seemed Rosalie was the only one working. James was playing on his phone, while Pop was in the kitchen talking to the cooks.

Rosalie went over to James and hit him on the back of the head. He groaned in pain before turning to her. "Why did you hit me?" "You're meant to be working. Either help me or get the hell out of here" she snapped.

James gulped as the Diner door opened. "Ye-yeah I can help. I'll take your current tables and you- you can take the back tables." He ran off confusing Rosalie.

An arm wrapped around Rosalie's waist making her smile. She knew exactly who it was just by their touch. She  looked up and saw Fangs smiling. "I can't catch a break, can I." "Join us?" he asked.

Rosalie went to reply, only to notice an annoyed Toni enter the Diner. "Go sit down, I'll bring over some Shakes." Fangs nodded his head as he followed Toni to their usual seats.

"Where is he? Where are they? Where did they go?" Fangs asked. Toni sighed. "He got into an argument with some Northsider. Joaquin convinced him to leave before it got bad. He was ready to kill."

Fangs groaned annoyed. "I want him to meet her." He paused and shook his head before speaking again. "Actually, I want my sister to meet her first, then he can."

Rosalie went over to her two Serpent friends. She was carrying a tray containing three Milkshakes, a large plate of fries and one plate of onion rings.

"Are you ever not working?" Toni questioned, not recalling a time she was at Pop's without seeing Rosalie. "I like working. I get to see my favourite customers, as well as Bat Brain" Rosalie teased.

"Give me your phone" Fangs demanded. Rosalie raised an eyebrow at him. "Now why the hell would I do that?" "I want your number. I want to see you away from here" he confessed.

Rosalie smiled as she gave him her phone. "I have a free house if you want to come around later. My parents have a business trip" she told them. Though she never mentioned how she only knew due to hacking into her mother's email address and checking her schedule.

Toni smirked. "Sounds like fun. Do we need to bring anything?" "Only yourself. Bring Quincy too. I'd tell you to bring more, but I don't feel comfortable with people I don't know in my house" Rosalie admitted. Toni nodded her head. "I wouldn't either."

"Rue" Pop called out. Rosalie looked over to Pop who waved his hand, silently informing her she was needed. "I'll be back in a second" Rosalie told her friends.

She left the table and went over to Pop. "What seems to be the problem?" 

"There appears to be a argument outside, James is unable to deal with it. Would you?" he asked. A smirk appeared on her face. "I'd be honoured."

She made her way outside only to see Reggie arguing with Chuck. She couldn't help but roll her eyes.

"Hey!" The two boys turned to her. Chuck's face softened while Reggie still looked pissed. "Take this fight somewhere else, or I'm going to step in" she said moving closer to them.

"Wilde, do us all a favour and get lost. This doesn't concern you, so fuck off" Reggie hissed.

Rosalie scoffed as she stood next to Reggie. "Actually, this does concern me. Wanna know why?" Reggie folded his arms, already furious. "You're fighting outside my work. You're disturbing the peace at my work. Therefore, this is my concern" she stated. "Go fight somewhere else, anywhere else, then I won't give a damn" She added.

"Just go home Wilde, go back to Mommy and Daddy" Reggie snapped. Rosalie stood still on the spot. She was hurt by what he said, though he didn't know why, nor did he care.

Fangs growled as he saw Rosalie's face. He could see she was hurt by the words they spoke. "Fuck this" he mumbled as he stood up. Toni grabbed his arm. "Don't." "I'm not going to let them talk to her like that. I care about her" he replied. "I know you do, but going out there isn't going to help. We both know you'll get in a fight and that will make everything a lot worse."

An annoyed sigh escaped his mouth. He knew Toni was right. He wouldn't go out there, he was going to keep an eye on them from where he was sitting, watch them carefully.

"Go back inside, Rose" Chuck told her. She scoffed. "Not until you go fight somewhere else."

"Let's go" Chuck said to Reggie, who scoffed. "Why? Because the Serpent Slut told you too?"

Rosalie scrunched her hand up in a fist. "I don't listen to anyone, especially-" Reggie stepped closer to Rosalie. "-no good Serpent Sluts."

No one could stop her, Rosalie's fist made contact with Reggie's face causing him to fall to the ground.

Fangs and Toni jumped out of their seats and ran outside. "Okay Bunny, let's get you inside" Fangs said, but Rosalie was furious. She was furious at the boy who was sitting on the floor.

"Really, Wilde? Calling your Serpent friends. They'll realise you're no good for them, just like Jason did" Reggie taunted.

A growl escaped Rosalie's mouth, before she could do anything Fangs picked her up and put her over his shoulders. He carried her back inside the Diner, Toni following them.

Pop looked at the three teens confused. He shook his head as he motioned for the three to follow him.

They entered a room out back. "Take her home after, she needs to cool down" Pop said before leaving.

"What was that about?" Toni asked as Fangs put Rosalie down.

Rosalie sighed. "He thought it was okay to taunt me about one of my exes." "And?" Toni raised her eyebrow knowing there was more to the story. "My ex is dead" Rosalie replied.

The two Serpents went quiet. They didn't know what to say.

"Let's get you home" Toni spoke breaking the silence.

Fangs, Toni and Rosalie were sitting on Rosalie's sofa. They each had a beer in their hand. A loud burp escaped Fang's mouth as he finished the beer. "You're a pig" Toni told him. "Yeah, so what?" "You're such a dork" Rosalie spoke while chuckling.

"Do you have any more beer?" Fangs asked. Rosalie stood up. "Yeah, I'll get them."

When Rosalie was out of sight Toni turned to Fangs. "Notice how none of the pictures contain Rosalie? There must be around a dozen pictures, yet none of her, only her stuck up parents."

Fangs looked around and realised Toni was right, there wasn't a single picture of Rosalie.

"She did say they were assholes. They don't care enough to even have pictures of their child around. All that does is prove Rosalie's accusation, they really are assholes" Fangs said.

Rosalie arrived in the room with a six pack of beer. "Fair warning, I'm a bit of a light weight" she informed them. "That just means more for us" Fangs replied as he grinned at her.

Toni rolled her eyes. "We have to drive back, we can't get drunk." "You can stay" Rosalie suggested. "I'll sleep with you" Fangs said. Toni rolled her eyes.

"Fangs, you can sleep on my floor, Toni, you can take the bed with me."

Fangs pouted. "Can't we all sleep together? It wouldn't be the first time Toni and I slept in the same bed as someone else. We do it with Sweets and he's like ten foot" he whined.

Rosalie rolled her eyes. "Is that okay with you Toni?" Toni shrugged. "Sure, why not."

The three carried on drinking, talking, laughing for a couple more hours before they went to bed. They laid in the bed together, wrapped up in blankets, all cuddled up.

It was the first time Rosalie felt like she belonged since Jason's death.
