31: Epilogue

Rosalie was laying in a hospital bed unconscious as Archie, Betty, Jughead, Veronica and Kevin sat in the waiting room.

"I came out of the bathroom and there was this man, thief, wearing this hood. Rosalie was laying on the floor, but she wasn't shot, she was hit with the gun to stop her from interfering. Then he pointed it at my dad and fired" Archie explained.

"Why didn't he shoot Rosalie?" Veronica thought out loud.

Jughead and Kevin looked at the girl in disbelief. "That's your concern right now? Why didn't he shoot Rosalie? I know you don't like her and she definitely doesn't like you, but she's lying in a hospital bed, unconscious right now." Jughead shook his head, annoyed at the Lodge girl. He continued to speak. "Yet your concern is why isn't she bleeding out."

"I didn't mean it that way. I mean it doesn't make sense, why shoot Fred but not Rosalie?" Veronica questioned. "Maybe he thought Rosalie couldn't hurt him, that she wasn't as strong as Fred and because of that she didn't need to be seriously wounded" Kevin guessed.

Veronica shook her head. "It was more than that."

"I come back to town, go to my best boy's house, yet he's not there. I go to my best girl's house and again, she's no where to be found. I go to Pop's only to discover blood everywhere and to be told Rosalie is in here" a voice spoke.

Betty, Jughead and Kevin's eyes went wide as they looked at the boy, the boy Betty used to like, the boy Jughead spoke to a few times, the boy Kevin used to love.

A smirk was on the brown eyed boys face as he looked at the five. "Guess who's back bitches!"
