"Honestly, I Wasn't Paying Attention To Either Bertha Or Victoria, At Least Not Until The Kiss."

"It's Veronica."

Rosalie sat at the edge of her bed as she listened to her parents speak to each other. It was no lie Rosalie's parents didn't care for her, she was nothing but an inconvenience to them.

The majority of the time they ignored her existence. When they did seem to remember her they were far from nice, for that reason Rosalie was usually only at home to sleep.

A sigh escaped her mouth as she got ready for school. She liked school, it was calming, relaxing compared to her torturous life at home.

Rosalie went downstairs and her parents didn't acknowledge her, no greeting, no nods, pure silence. It was times like this Rosalie wished her parents had put her up for adoption, she would have been with a family who cared about her.

There was a family, within Riverdale, who adored Rosalie, The Blossoms.

The Blossoms loved Rosalie, they thought she was incredible, the only person good enough for their Jason. Their admiration reached quite terrifying lengths, especially when they put a red wig on her, telling her she looked like a true Blossom.

It was a strong possibility that she and Jason would have eventually got back together, whether it would have been months, or even years.

Jason and Rosalie were perfect for each other, all agreed, apart from Polly.

Rosalie held no dislike for the Cooper girl, it wasn't her fault she fell in love with Jason. If anything Rosalie respected Polly. Polly never forced herself on the boy, she was respectful, the only reason she ended up dating him was due to Rosalie.

The kettle boiled making Rosalie jump. She was so caught up in her thoughts she forgot she was making herself a drink.

She made herself a drink of coffee and went to the living room. Again her parents said no words to her, she was non-existent in their eyes.

After she finished her drink she started making her way to school. She was walking, as per usual.

"Rose" Archie's voice called out. Rosalie stopped walking allowing the boy to catch up to her.

"Hey, Archibald" she teased. He pushed her gently. "Hush, Elena." She rolled her eyes as she pushed him back, a grin on her face.

"Are you ready for a wonderful school year?" Archie asked causing Rosalie to grin. "Hell yeah! I was working all summer with Pop, as per usual. School is like a refreshing break from customers who take ten minutes to decide what to eat, only to have their regular order."

Archie laughed. He knew how hard it was for Rosalie not to be too blunt at work, she lived off the tips for things like clothing.

"I should be asking if you're ready for school. You look hot now, all the girls will be all over you" Rosalie said. Archie grinned and shook his head. "I'm not interested in any of the girls at our school."

Archie didn't lie, the words that left his mouth were technically not a lie. He wasn't interested in any girl at their school, no, he was interested in a woman.

They arrived at school and went to their lockers. "Are you excited for football?" Rosalie asked. Archie never got the chance to reply.

Reggie went over to them, leaning next to Rosalie's locker. "Sup Rose" Reggie greeted with a smirk before turning his attention to Archie. "Bro, you're ready for football. I'm not kidding dude, you got ripped. Dude, you're a beast, look at this arm. How much are you benching?"
