I'm now a married man!!

This is what has being ringing in my brain since I realized I've tied the knot with khadeejah.

Haseenah wasn't able to come because of some school stuffs, which i believe was just an excuse for her not to witness the man she loves getting married to another.

I can't even understand how a little girl like her will want to torture herself with love. I believe you just have to understand each other and respect your feelings and also care for one and other.

After the two weeks honey moon in Paris, we came back to Nigeria and alhamdulillah our marriage has been nothing but good.
Since Dee is my friend right from time she understood when I wanted to left alone and things I like and the ones I don't.

We both work but hers isn't as hectic as mine so she has time to come back and prepare dinner for us before I return from work because she insisted about not wanting a maid.

Its been 2 years since we got married but Allah hasn't blessed us with any child yet, I'm not complaining but Dee is really bothered about it. I kept telling her to wait for God's time but it like i'm not even saying anything at all.

I had to travel to close a business deal in Germany since Abba decided to retired early I have to do the CEO's job even though I haven't being officially appointed. I didn't want to go but I had to because Dee has been complaining of constant headache,loss of appetite and Whatnots so I had mixed feelings about leaving. But in the end she convinced me to go.

"Make sure you see the doctor please babe. Just do this for me ok?, I know you hate hospitals but your health is really important. Promise me you'll do it." I said holding her hand in mine and looking at her pleadingly.

"Toh naji insha Allah I'll see him by tomorrow" She replied hugging me.

"That's my girl,take care of yourself for me and eat as much as you can because you are getting lean" I said place a kiss on her forehead.

She escorted me out to the compound and waited for my car to leave because the driver was taking me to the airport.

The meeting lasted for 2hrs and I managed to seal the deal. I came back to my hotel room since its the same venue with the meeting, the first thing I noticed was my phone on the bed.

I was really surprised to see 10 missed calls from khadeejah, its so unlike her the highest she could is 2 calls then wait for me to call back so I immediately called back. As if on cue she picked up on the first ring.

"Hello babe ya kike" I asked.

"Lafiya kalau, ya meeting din" she answered and I immediately sensed that something was off.

"Did you go to the hospital? What did the doctor say?" I asked her. Her response was what terrified me because instead of answering she bursted into tears.
It took a while to calm her down before she spoke up " Honey are done with the meeting?" She asked.

"Yeah I'm managed to close the deal and I'm coming back tomorrow insha Allah"I replied her.

"Ohk. Till I see you tomorrow, I have something to tell you" She said.

" Toh I'll be back early insha Allah" I told her. I kept thinking of various things, I know something is wrong but I couldn't say what.

We bade each other and hung up, I'll make sure first thing tomorrow morning I'm on the plane to Nigeria.
