This past months has been really depressing and heartbreaking for us, khadeejah has not being responding to any of the treatments. Our visits to the hospital has become frequent,the doctors advised on the chemotherapy but she outrightly refused. All efforts from our parents proved abortive as she'd rather wait for her time.

I know she is in pain but she always acts as if all is well, Haseenah now lives with us because we don't have a maid and khadeejah is always tired and weak to do anything. Mamii and mama send us food regularly,in the end mama asked one of her maids to come and assist Haseenah with the house chores.

Today is Saturday so I am at home, I decided to talk to Dee again on the chemo since her cancer is in it final stage already,I want her to try but she's already given up. I walked into her room with salam and saw she and haseenah sitting on the bed talking about something I couldn't make out,immediately Haseenah saw me she leapt on her feet and started to leave the room when she got to the door she greeted me and went out.

She's looking more matured and beautiful since she came back from Dubai but she's been avoiding me, she's always looking for an excuse to leave the place when I'm around, I don't know why though because I'm very much sure she's still in love with me maybe just trying to convince herself she's over me. I approached Dee and sat down by her side sliding her palm into mine.

"Honey how was night? Did you sleep well?" I asked looking into her eyes.

"Lafiya kalau baby, how was your night also" she replied me.

"Good....Baby I wanted us to talk about something, you know I don't want to lose you koh" I said still holding her gaze.

"I know what you want to say Aslam but I think we done talking about this issue,I don't want to go through with this chemotherapy I can't bear shaving my hair and the painful stuffs. I don't want to make my loved ones suffer seeing me in that state I just wanna enjoy my remaining time with you guys" She said with tears.

I agree with her but I don't want her to give up but she has already decided so I have to support her since her parents also complied with it. I drew her close to me and joined my lips to hers kissing her gently she broke the kiss after a while hugging me before she spoke up.

"Baby let's go out just you and I, let's go to the movies, shop and then eat ice cream at larusha's treat I saw some new flavors on her Instagram page" she said smiling.

"But honey you'll be tired you're getting weaker....."  The look of hurt I saw on her face made me keep quiet, I  mentally slapped myself for saying that....." Ohk babe let me go get dressed and make sure you're dressed before me because the last person pays the bills" I said racing to the walk in closet. I could hear her laughter as she said "I'll just pay because I won't win.

I got dressed in a blue button up shirt with black fitted trousers and a Balenciaga shoe and went down stairs to wait for her in the car, She came down 15mins later wearing a kimono from Le voilee by larusha after she has settled in the car I turned to look at her she's very lean and I know she's just making an effort to be strong and happy.

"Babe you're late"I said.

"Sorry na tsaya yinma Haseenah da baba kande sallama" She said pouting.

"I'm not angry just wondering what took you so long" I said taking her hand in mine.

"Toh,let's go already we have a lot to do" She replied.

"Ohk madam"I smiled driving out of the compound.
