I could barely sleep that night I kept thinking of what made Dee cry,I'm really confused I just hope the doctor didn't tell her she can never give birth  because I know she'll be really heartbroken if that's the case..........poor khadeejah!

Notwithstanding,I just hope it's something we can take care of because its both our business since we are a couple.

I finally arrived in Lagos before boarding another plane to Abuja,throughout the journey I was anxious which wasn't my habit. I know I'm not in love with her but I really care way too much for her, she's really supportive and caring so the least I could was to be with her.

I arrived home around noon,i search the whole first floor but she's not there, I later found her in one of the guest rooms bundled up like a child,
I quickly rush to her side sitting her up.

"Babe what's the problem,I called you before starting the journey but you didn't pick my calls. Khadeejah talk to me what's wrong with you?" I asked because she barely glanced at me since I came in.

She didn't respond but handed me an envelope, I collected it and started going through it. Even though I'm not knowledgeable in medical aspect this report was more of handwritten.

What I saw really shook me, I looked at her and back at the piece of paper in my hand.
"Innalillahi wa'ina ilayhi rajiun" Was what i kept saying.........khadeejah has blood cancer(leukemia).

She bursted into fresh tears hiding her face in the pillow, I brought her up and hugged her closely as she continues crying.

"Everything is gonna be alright babe, we're going to see the doctor again together, there ought to be a way out of this. We can try chemotheraphy and other treatments...Ohk??" I told her reassuringly,I was really scared but I can't show her that part of me it will only make her lose hope.

I'm gonna make sure we see that doctor tomorrow morning but for now she needs to eat and rest. I don't want to let either of our parents  know for now until we see what the doctor's visit brings. Besides Mamii is really busy today because Haseenah is coming back after 4 years being away as she decided to apply for her masters immediately after her first degree.
