A week later
____

B5 made their way into the conference room and was met with Sean Combs and Brian-Michael Cox. The guys were excited to talk about getting their third album tracklist finalized, put out, and sold. Sean's face held excitement but B. Cox's face was reserved so they didn't really know what to expect. They just hoped good news would be coming from them.

"Nice to see you guys and I hope you got to enjoy your vacation. Speaking of, I heard you got some good news while gone and it is true. Your third album is ready to be put in order by the tracks of your choice."

They were estatic to hear those words come out of his mouth.

"Say yes will still be the first single and we'll start on the video next week. I want the single and video out before you mention an album coming out.. is that a deal?" He asked the five of them.

"Deal." Dustin was the first one to respond, instead of the usual Patrick.

"I can deal with that." Bryan said.

Kelly and Carnell just nodded.

"Okay.." Patrick said.

"Great," said Diddy. "Here are the songs I approved of so you can make a list and bring it back to me how you want the order to go. That's all for today, see you next week to make the video."

Once Sean dipped, all of the guys got a chance to look at the list and they were astounded.

"This it?" Kelly looked at the list. "Are we supposed to make an album with this? All the songs we like are crossed out." He was heated. Kelly threw the paper in the middle of table so the rest could see.

"He really cancelled Don't Go? Let Her Go? Victim? He's crazy.. what good work is he talking about if he shut them all down?" Bryan was now angry.

After the guys looked at the list they all became furious. They worked extremely hard and tedious on this album because they had to and because this was their art, their talent. To be shut down was a slap in the face.

"I'm not letting him put an album out with eight songs." Dustin shook his head. "Especially when we have more to offer."

"And when we have the songs right here.. come on now, that's crazy." Carnell said. "He just said songs of OUR choice but he's picking them out."

Everyone expressed themselves except Patrick. He might've wanted to but he knew he couldn't. Besides everyone not knowing why he betrayed his flesh and blood, he knew he was the reason Diddy was their manager in the first place. So he remained quiet.

"You got anything you wanna say, pretty boy?" Carnell asked Patrick after noticing he wasn't talking.

"No," Patrick replied dryly.

"Well you should. You should say how your decision was terrible and you made a mistake."

Patrick wasn't sure if he was talking about Diddy or the situation with Chelsea that nobody knows about, but he wasn't about to start anything either.

"Go ahead! Tell us!" Carnell was mad and wanted answers.

Patrick got up and left out of the room.

Kelly spoke after Patrick left out. "Look. No one but Patrick and Chelsea seem to know about what happened so when we're doing business, you need to forget about that. He feels bad enough about it.. but as far as diddy goes.. you can light that ass up."

"Can't just fault him though... every one of yall chose Diddy over Chelsea. Y'all know that Chels would've let us do whatever damn near." Bryan preached.
