Kelly and Viah

Kelly waited patiently at the airport for Viah and Avery to arrive. He's been waiting on this moment since they left and he's anxious and excited to see them both. They were where he felt calmest and on top of the world. He felt home. And he struggled to fix his home while they were away. He planned to fix that and more starting today.

Viah stood with Avery on her hip as Terrance offered to get her bags plus Avery's stroller. She let him of course because she didn't want to put Avery down. She was scared she would run off and get lost.

"Here you go,"

"Thanks Tee." She told him while putting Avery in the stroller. "I appreciate it."

"No problem. I guess I'll see you when the movie premieres?"

"Yeah, thanks again."

"Unless you need me to help you load everything up?" Terrance was desperate to get her attention.

"I've got it Terrance. I promise you."

"Okay, okay. See you then."

Viah shook her head as he walked off. Terrance was the same old Terrance. He was sweet but Viah knew she didn't want him anymore. She also didn't know that Kelly was here. He was taking notes as he casually asked her about her flight. She thought nothing of it until she locked eyes with him outside.

She smiled. "Kelly.."

He made his way over to her. He wrapped his arms around her and embraced her. She inhaled his scent. She missed it. She missed him. Being in his arms.

"Damn." He laughed. "I missed you."

"I missed you too."

He let her go. "Good," he kissed her forehead and greeted his baby girl who he picked up out of the stroller.

Viah watched as they interacted with one another. She missed that too. And she missed Atlanta.

"I can't believe you're here."

"You really thought I'd let you and my baby Uber home when I'm here?" Kelly shook his head at her.

She smiled at him. "I'm glad you came."

"I know.." he told her. "Now let's go."

Kelly was now on the road while listening to Viah talk about the food she wanted now that she was back in Atlanta. She was so busy rambling that she wasn't even paying attention to what Kelly was doing.

"I want a fat ass juicy ass greasy ass burger too. With extra everything."

He laughed as he pulled into a driveway.

"Kelly?"

"Mmhm?"

"Where are you going?"

"Well you never told me where you wanted to stay when you got back.."

"Because I didn't think you were picking me up."

He parked once he was at the end of the driveway. The house that was in front of them was the house that Viah picked to buy when she got back. Her plan was to stay with her parents until she did.

"Why are we here?"

"Get out, Vee." Kelly said while exiting the vehicle and getting Avery out.
