someone would come and kill the poet in me
someone who wouldn't let me feel sad and alone
someone who would always make me smile
someone who wouldn't let my heart break
someone who wouldn't give me reasons to lose faith in the world and in the people in it
someone who would take away my darkest thoughts
someone who wouldn't let my pen bleed on my paper with the words that run in my head all the time
someone who would take away my sorrows
someone who would make me the worst poet
because i write about tragedies
i write about betrayal
i write about dishonesty
i write about lies
and i write about all the things that made me believe that love is just a waste of time
until then
i will continue writing
