The Silver Paladin ( Voltron x Reader )

Ch.3 ~Defenders of the Universe~

"Paladins, it's time to suit up!" Shiro calls.

I quickly open up the pod, but soon come to realise that there is a black tight fighting suit that has to go underneath the armor. I don't feel comfortable changing in front of other people so I get changed into it as fast as possible which I am surprisingly good at. I put the armor pieces on slower because I want to savour the moment of it. After I put the boots on I do a spin, and look at myself in the glass of my pod. I smile, I look amazing in it, it's crazy comfortable, and easy to move in.

The others are just about done finishing up, and I turn to face them. Lance just finishes up and when he sees me his mouth drops. But he quickly recovers, pushes his hair back, and slides over to me. He puts a hand on the glass of the pod next to me. "Are you from outer space? Because girl your body is out of this world." Lance winks.

My face turns beat red, and I can feel the whole room staring at us. I cover my face with my hands, and turn away as I try to hide my blushing face.

"Lance, if you keep saying stuff like that then your going to scare her off." Keith says crossing his arms.

"No way, that was my best one. And it's not like you could do any better." Lance smirks. I pull my hands away from my face to watch the two of them argue over me. My face gets even redder as they continue.

"Is that a challenge?" Keith says bitterly.

"Yes!" Lance shouts and also crossing his arms.

Keith looks at me his face turns pink and then at Lance. And then looks back at me, "Challenge denied." Keith says with a cross of his arms.

"Then I guess (y/n)'s all mine." Lance tries to put his arm around me, but I duck under his arm, and back away. Keith snickers, and Lance pouts.

Allura rolls her eyes, and brings the attention onto her, "The bayard is the traditional weapon of the Paladins of Voltron. It takes a distinct shape for each paladin." In front of her is a tray of five bayards. Each one is color coded, and float up into the air. They float into the hands of their paladins respectively. I reach out to take mine, and my whole hand gets a tingling sensation as I take my bayard in hand. As soon as I do it transforms into a staff. I grin and attempt to give it a good spin, but instead I drop it and it lands on my foot. It turns back into it's simple bayard form as I jump up and down holding my foot in pain. 

"Are you okay (y/n)?" Hunk asks.

I rub my foot and set it back down on the ground, "I'm fine." I say as I pick up my bayard again.

Hunk suddenly activates his bayard, and he almost drops his because it's so heavy, but catches it just in time. He picks it up with both hands, and grins at his blaster.

Keith gasps as his transforms into a long sword, and even activates his shield along with it. It reminds me of a prince charming, or a knight in shining armor look.

Lance's also turns into a blaster like Hunks, but it's lighter and smaller. Lance closes one eyes and looks around through it.

Pidge takes a hold of hers and it turns into a green triangular blade. It honestly looks super cool. She swipes it around, and she smiles. 

"Aw, you got a cute little bayard." Lance teases.

Pidge rams her blade into his gut, Lance screams as her bayard shocks him. "Yeah, it is pretty cute." Pidge smirks, and I give her a high five. Pidge looks up at me, "I didn't see yours (y/n) what does your bayard look like?"

I don't really want to activate because I don't want to drop it on my foot again, but I do it anyway. The bayard in my hand returns to it's staff form, and I don't drop it this time. "Show off some moves!" Pidge says with a grin.
