We watch the sunset for a little longer, but Pidge begins to yawn.

"Coran, can you please show the paladins to their rooms. I want to talk with (y/n) for a little bit." Allura asks Coran.

Corna nods, "Of course princess." The others walk off with Coran and mumble a tired "goodnight" to me as they leave.

Allura and I are the only ones left outside in the cool air as the sky transitions from its pinks and oranges to its blues and purples.

Allura sighs. "You probably want to know everything don't you?"

I nod, "I want to know everything. Why is this happening? How do you know? And am I putting the others and myself in danger? Those are the big questions I would like you to answer." I say calmly.

"Yes, I can answer those questions. But I will have to start from the beginning." Allura sits down, and I also sit down while I listen to her speak. "The truth is, is that I have known you since the moment you were born. Your mother was a human from Earth, and your father is from the planet Lavina. Lavina is a place filled with all kinds of magic and creatures. He was born as the species Eldrian. He had magical powers and the power to harness quintessence. He was the key to bringing the lions of Voltron to life. One day he met your mother, they fell in love, and then...they had you." Allura looks me in the eyes, and I stare at her in bewilderment. "You are half human, but also half Eldrian. Which means that you hold great power inside of you. You might even be the last of the Eldrians."

I stare at her in amazement, 'How is this even possible? How did Allura know me before I was even born? Only half human? Great power? My parents?' I have so many questions to ask, and I feel as though they're all going to explode from inside of me. But I can only ask so much at once, "H-how do you know all of this?" Is all I'm able to ask.

"You were born in The Castle of Lions (y/n)." Allura smiles for only a moment, but then she turns away to look up at the sparkling sky, "I only knew you for a short amount of time, you were the first human child that I ever met, not to mention a half breed. It was clear that from the moment you were born that you were special, you were born with unique powers that would only grow with time, and being half human your body didn't know how to contain most of it. So your mother and father concealed your quintessence in your pendant that you once had. When your quintessence was released your pendant most likely shattered. Not long after you were born, Zarkon attacked. Your mother was forced to flee with you in one of our pods. You were launched into outer space with your mother heading towards Earth. I was put into a sleep chamber for over 10,000 years as you know. When I first woke up I fell into your arms, and I spotted your pendant very quickly. We were never introduced, but I heard the other paladins say your name, and I wondered if it really was you. After waking up I checked all of my notifications over the past 10,000 years when I saw a notification in green appear it was about the pod you and your mother were in. When you were launched into outer space the pod had let out a distress signal and the whole pod was put under cryo-sleep. Almost 10,000 years after being in cryo-sleep you were taken captive by a galra ship. I don't know how you and your mother escaped, but my best guess is that someone on board helped you escape to planet Earth."

I frown, and tuck my knees into my chest, "I think that you have it wrong. My mother and I didn't escape together. It was just me..." Tears well up in my eyes, and I stuck my face into my knees. Where I was raised was no place for someone like me, just the thought of it scared me, but I haven't had the chance to talk about it with anyone besides Pidge, not even Hunk and Lance know.

Allura is quiet, places a hand on my shoulder, and asks quietly, "What happened?"

I lift my head from my knees, and look up at the starry sky, "I was left on a family's porch and was taken in. The never hid the fact that I wasn't apart of their family, my "parents" were always fighting, my "sister" was 17 and she was the worst. She would play the worst kind of pranks on me, but the one that she did the most was getting her friends and locking me in a small wardrobe upstairs. They would laugh as I screamed and begged to let me out, and when they finally did they would hit me. I was always different and alone, but then when I was ten Pidge moved in a few blocks down from where I lived. We bonded quickly and were inseparable. Pidge's family never knew my family situation for two years until my little brother was born. My parents named him Daimonas, it means demon in greek, they named him that because he was born deformed, the right side of his face was lopsided and saggy, his right ear was missing, and he was practically blind in his left eye. My family didn't love him, but I did. Pidge and I would take care of him together. But then three weeks later I came home just a little later than I should have, I walked into the kitchen and was going to turn off the lights, but then I saw Daimonas... He was as cold as ice, and his breath was as unmoving as my own at that moment. My father came up behind me and tried to attack me, but at the time I was wearing my pendant and for a split second there was a flash of light, and he was blasted into the other room. I ran up to my room, grabbed a bag I had kept packed for well over four years. I could hear my father running up the stairs to catch me, and I could hear a clicking as he ran which meant that he was holding his shotgun. Before he reached my room I jumped out of the second-floor window and ran to Pidge's house. It was a miracle I hadn't gotten hurt, but it was my only way to escape. He didn't chase me, but I ran like there was no tomorrow. I arrived at Pidge's house in the middle of the night, and I told he-him and his family everything about my family and what happened. Pidge knew about all of it, but he was devastated to learn Daimonas had been killed. The next day we went to the Garrison, and the rest is history."
