Friday rolls around pretty quick and I'm sat getting ready for my date with Braydon if you can even call it that. I have decided on a Smokey eye for my makeup and my outfit consists of leather look pants and a sheath rose coloured top. Bray and I have been texting all week and have seen each other around when I've met up with the girls. We've flirted and I've not smiled this much in a long while.

Later on, Bray picks me up and we drive to an Italian restaurant. He mentioned during the week for me not to have any tea as we were going to get some nibbles to share with our drinks. I should have known he was up to something.

I give Brandon a look that he must be able to read my face well.
"I know, I know. You said a drink but I take other girls for drinks...I want to be different with you, prove that I want to get to know you and prove you're different than all the other girls"
"Wow Bray, that's so sweet" I smile at him and can actually tell he's being genuine.
He climbs out of the car and before I can even grab the door handle, he's there opening the door for me.
"Try hard" I smirk as I get out of the car.
"Fine, I won't bother next time" he grins and takes my hand as we walk to the restaurant.
I can't stop grinning as we take out seat in a little candle lit booth.
"Ok, you really are trying to impress me...do you do this for all the girls you just want to sleep with or am I an exception?" i raise my brows.
"Kae, you don't get it do you? I don't want to sleep with you...well I do" he smirks "but it's not the only thing I want. I want all of you. I don't know what it is but it's like you've captured me. As cringe as it sounds, I actually can't stop thinking about you. Usually when a girl comes over being all flirty, I'm all up for it, but since you've come along, I'm not interested in any of them and all I think about is how I wish it was you instead."

As promised, I laid it on thick. Thicker than the girl I last dated...if you could even call it 'dating.'
As I was saying it all out loud, inner me was screaming with the evil laugh due to the fact that she was actually falling for every word. I could see her expression soften and a small smile spread on her lips. And there she was. I had her exactly where I wanted her. I couldn't wait to tell Alex that she was like putty in my hands.
"That's really sweet bray, but it's going to take a lot for me to trust you. You do get that don't you?"
"I totally understand Kae, you've no reason not to trust me though, all I want is you"
Soon we finish eating, talking and surprisingly I enjoyed it...although I won't be telling Alex that. She's actually a really nice girl and I can't believe I'm saying it but she made me laugh on multiple occasions...not the fake laugh I usually do with girls who try too hard to make me laugh but a real belly laugh that got people staring at us. We had fun.
I pay for the food and I can tell how grateful she is with my gesture. I drop her off at home but before I let her get out of the car I kiss her on the cheek.
"Thanks for a lovely evening bray, I've thoroughly enjoyed it. You're not as bad as I thought" she smirks. And with that she turns and struts away...damn.

I get home and lay on my bed when my phone vibrates.

Alex: well...

I better explain tonight's antics.

Me: like putty in my hand. She believed every word I said and thinks I'm totally smitten.

Alex: good. This is gunna be perfect.

He doesn't need to know what an amazing night I had with her...

On Monday I don't see Alex till our shared lunch break but as soon as he sees me, he starts with the questions.
"Tell me the details, what actually happened?"
And again, I'm very vague with my details. I tell him how the night went but I don't tell him just how much I enjoyed it because even I can't believe it.
"So, what's phase two?" He asks when I'm done telling him my tale.
"For her to actually fall for me I'm going to have to do more than just take her on a date, it's going to take time. We'll go out more, even as a group and I'll carry on doing what I'm doing and her heart will be broken before we know it"
