chapter 3

"reagan" rick said quietly motioning my head over to the side. i met on the other side of the church, away from our family.

"bob is gone. and your dad and carol still haven't come back. also we're pretty sure someone was watching us. please stay here and keep everyone safe, make sure they stay inside. i'm going out with tyreese  to go after sasha who is somewhere out there. keep watch by the door, and i'll bring your dad back" he said quietly to me. we were trying to keep this entire thing low key. i nodded and walked with rick and tyreese over to the door.

they went out and i shut it behind them. i didn't stand there that long. "rae open up!" i heard from the other side of the door, it's rick.

i opened the door and in came sasha,  tyreese, and rick. rick was clearly frustrated that our people are missing, and he found it a perfect opportunity to interrogate gabriel about the outside of his church.

in tears, gabriel explained when this whole thing happened, he locked his people outside of the church and refused to let them in. so that's why the scratches and the threat is written on the outside of the church. during this whole time, i still kept watch by the door.

when gabriel was on the floor bawling his eyes out, i heard a whistle outside. i looked out the window and was very confused on what i saw. "rick, somethin' weird is goin' on. there's someone layin' on the ground out here." i called out. sasha started running to the door. "sasha, no!" rick said going after her.

i followed them outside. "bob!" sasha cried out as walkers started coming from around. "oh my god his leg" maggie said looking at it. it was cut off. "i got em, get bob inside!" i yelled as walkers started getting closer.

i got my bow out and started shooting the walkers. glenn also helped with killing the ones that were behind me. "we're clear, come on rae!" glenn said running back for the church. "hold up!" i yelled going over to the walkers i killed. i needed to get my arrows. i yanked my 6 arrows out of the skulls then ran inside. glenn shut the door behind me.

when inside, everyone gathered around bob next to the pews. someone had to keep watch, so i took on the responsibility. bob explained that the same guys from terminus knocked him out when he was walking around outside, took him, and were eating his leg right in front of them.

"did they have dad and carol?" i asked loud enough that he could hear me. "no, gareth said that they drove off somewhere" bob said. i closed my eyes and sighed. my dad is gone once again. but this time i have no clue what's going on.

bob stared grunting in pain and right as rosita went off to get some pain medication, he told us to save them and then showed us his bite. i took a deep breath to contain myself.

gabriel offered bob the couch and tyreese and sasha moved him in there. rick questioned gabriel about the place bob was talking about, and carl tried to get judith to quit crying.

"time for reality check, we need to get moving to d.c." abraham said. "shut the hell up, we ain't going no where without my dad and carol" i said with a stern face. "i respect that but being here puts a threat to eugene and i need to get his ass outta that. so we go our separate ways. you're welcome to join us if you'd like" abraham said walking towards me because i was at the door.

"you leaving on foot?" rick questioned. him and rosita quit walking. "we fixed that damn bus ourselfs" abraham said turning around to face rick. "

"there's a lot more of us" rick said clearly pissed off. "you wanna keep it that way? you should come" abraham suggested.

"carol saved your life, we saved your life!" rick said trying to talk abraham out of it. "well i'm trying to save yours, save everyone's!" abraham yelled.
