Darry walks up the front porch to his house happily, a firm grin planted on his lips. He was honestly happier than he's been in quite a long time.

The 21 year old male turns slightly and waves to his new boyfriend, watching him wave back before driving off. Paul had college classes to get to but that was okay.

Darry opens the front door and walks inside, making sure to close the door behind him. His little brothers were on the couch as well as Johnny.

"So Dar," Ponyboy starts slowly. "How did meeting up with Paul go? Did it go well? Was he just as nice?"

"Well, it was amazing actually," Darry says sheepishly. "He took me to one of my favorite restaurants, talked to me a bit about crushes before telling me who he liked."

Soda's face almost instantly goes sad. He knew Darry liked him, even if he wasn't sure of his sexuality at the time.

"So who does he like," Soda asks slowly.

"Well considering he said 'you' before leaning over the table and kissing me, it was me," Darry says. "I now have a boyfriend."

Ponyboy immediately starts squealing and screaming 'yes' at the top of his lungs. Johnny laughs at his boyfriend and plants a kiss on his forehead.

"Paul's your boyfriend now," Soda asks excitedly. "Are you serious?"

"Yeah," Darry says. "He's 110% my boyfriend. Those are his words, not mine. Also he doesn't have classes on the weekends so he promised to come visit me every weekend."

"Is he still in school," Johnny asks. "Isn't he a bit too old?"

"He's 22 years old and he's taking college courses to become a nurse's aid. If things go well enough, he'll get the job he really wants. I'm just happy for him."

"So does that mean you figured your sexuality out a bit more," Ponyboy asks. "I mean, considering you're dating a man."

"I did actually," Darry says. "As of right now, I think its called bisexual. That's where you like the two genders, right?"

"Correct," Ponyboy says.

"Okay well that's me but I think I like guys just a bit more than girls. Guys are just so fucking hot."

Darry can't help but laugh at the words that came tumbling out of his mouth. It was a bit ridiculous but he didn't mind it at all.

Ponyboy, Johnny, and Soda laugh at him as well, of course not in a rude way. Darry was just being funny and loose for once instead of his recent uptight, rude behavior.

A knock on the door makes the living room quiet before Darry turns to the door. He wasn't really expecting visitors.

"Soda, is Steve coming over," Darry asks.

"Oh, yeah," Soda says giggling, instantly smiling. "He has a couple friends he wanted me to meet. He says they're pretty nice."

Darry nods and walks to the door, opening it.  There stood Steve and two other boys that Darry didn't know.

"Come in," Darry says.

Steve and the two boys walk in, Darry taking quick notice on how the two other boys had their fingers intertwined. He smiles a bit.

Soda stands up and walks over, hugging his boyfriend happily before looking at the other two. He pulls away slightly and smiles at them warmly.

"Okay Sodababe, these are my two only other friends I wanted you to meet. The one on the left with the rust hair color is Keith but call him Two-Bit because he usually only lets his sister call him that."

Soda looks at Two-Bit, taking in his features and nodding a little. He looked awful nice.

"The one on the right with the blonde hair and blue eyes, that's Dallas. You can call him Dally though."

Soda hums and nods again, looking at Dally and smiling. He liked Steve's friends so far.

"Two-Bit is pansexual and Dally is bisexual. They're a couple who have been together for maybe a year. I think."

"One year and three days," Two-Bit pipes up, a wide grin on his face. "And we're both still very happy."

Dally rolls his eyes playfully and presses a kiss to Two's cheek, making sure to fluster him. The two were very happy and very much in love.

"Its nice to meet you," Soda says. "You two seem awful nice. Also y'all are a cue couple."

"Thanks," Dally says. "Its nice to meet you too. But who are those guys?"

He pointed to the couple sitting on the couch and Darry standing by them. Soda almost forgot they were there.

"Oh, the tan one is Johnny, he lives here with us since his parents died. The one next to him, currently cuddling him is my little brother. They're dating by the way. Cutest thing ever. And the one standing is my older brother Darry. His boyfriend isn't here."

"Darry has a boyfriend," Steve questions. "I thought he didn't like gays... Or Johnny for that matter."

"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell that story. Here's a summary: Darry caught Johnnyboy over there in bed naked one morning and threw a fit. I came in and stopped him before he could seriously hurt Johnny and talked to him. Turns out, Darry was on edge because he was nervous about liking guys. So now everything's cool and Darry does a few chores now. Its great actually. The house is restored, almost to how mom and dad would have liked it."

Steve nods and smiles a little, glancing at the couple on the couch. He was happy that everyone was safe and okay.

"All right," Steve says. "So what are all of us gonna do?"

"We can just hang out here. Ponyboy and Johnny were watching Mickey Mouse and drinking Pepsi," Soda says shrugging. "I was watching with them."

"Wait, Mickey's on tv," Two-Bit exclaims happily, his eyes lighting up.

"Yeah, go watch it if you wanna," Soda says.

Two-Bit immediately drags his boyfriend down in front of the couch and sits down. Dally wraps an arm around his shoulder and smiles gently.

Steve kisses Soda's cheek quickly, smiling. The younger boy grins back widely.

They made their way over and sat on the other end of the couch, turning to watch the tv. Darry couldn't help but smile at all of them.

It was like having a whole family again, but this time it was just a bunch of goofy siblings. He rolls his eyes playfully and joins them watching tv.

The story isn't over just yet, don't worry. I think this has a few more chapters until its over.
