The Hybrid

Chapter 22

Somehow we managed to convince Henry and Rebecca to come back with us to the pack house so we could explain everything, Jacob carried the knocked out rouge to a cell under the house while Aiden and I went with Henry and Rebecca to their room. Along the way, I called Violet, Grace, and Zack to come as well. Henry and Rebecca sat next to each other on the bed while Zack and I stood in front of them, Grace and Violet stood a bit away and a minute late Jacob walked in.

"So now that we're all here, Henry and Rebecca, ask away," I said, they looked at each other, then Henry asked

"What are you?"

"Well let's just say we're not exactly human," Zack said,

"Then what are you?" Rebecca asked

"Werewolves, hybrids at that" Adien said

"Our pack, that's me, Grace, Aiden, Zack, Jacob, and Lizzy, is a hybrid pack. I'm an angel hybrid" Violet explained

"Demon hybrid"

"We're both vampire hybrids"

"I'm a witch hybrid"

Henry now looked to me, "And you?"

"I'm everything" I answered "werewolf, vampire, witch, angel and demon and dragon"

"Dragon?" Jacob asked "you never told us that one"

"I only figure it out last night and was meant to tell you earlier, the amber eyes were my dragon Karla" I explained, "any more questions?"

"How come when I'm near you I feel... More alive" Henry asked, I walked to him and knelt down in front of him and touched his hand. I felt sparks and he did too,

"Our goddess destines each of us to another, our soul mates. When a wolf turns eighteen they have the chance from then on to find their mates, some unlucky ones are... Rejected but then there is a rare chance they have a second mate, a second chance. You are my second chance and Rebecca is Zacks" I explained then stood up again. They looked at each other as if debating something then Rebecca said

"We should probably explain something too, we..."

Henry finished for her "We're not exactly human either"

We all looked at each other in shock,

"Then what are you?" Jacob asked

"Can you take us back to the lake?"

We all walked back to the lake, Henry, and Rebecca each carrying a towel. When we got there they both took off their clothes revealing swimwear underneath. Rebecca was in a plain blue bikini while Henry was in plain red swim trunks and man does he have some abs

"I still don't see where this is going," Jacob said

"Just watch," Henry said. They both walked into the water, the rest of us watching from the edge, and they kept going until they were waist deep, then they dove into the water. We waited but we didn't come back up for a while, Zack and I were getting very worried and I started to walk into the water calling their names. Suddenly they popped up just a couple feet away from me,

'What happened?! Are you okay?' was what I thought would be the first questions someone would ask, but no. Aiden asked

"How can you hold your breath for so long?!"

Everyone looked at him with an 'are you serious?' face,

"And how did you change clothes?" I asked now noticing that Rebeccas plain blue bikini top now had a seaweed pattern on it. Rebecca and Henry both smiled and looked at each other,

"Have you seriously not figured it out yet?" Rebecca asked. Zack then, who had now walked into the water next to me, muttered something under his breath that only our wolf ears could pick up,

"Mermaids"

"Say again?" Jacob asked,

"Mermaids" I repeated for them "Their mermaids"

They both leaned back in the water and showed us their tails. Rebecca's looked like her top, Blue with small green bits all over while Henry's was the red like his swimwear was.

"Holy shit," Violet said

"Well that explains a lot," Grace said, I walked closer to Henry and he asked

"What do you think about this?" I smiled

"I think I've got the best dam mate in the world" He put a hand up to my face and we moved closer and kissed. The sparks flew off in every direction as our lips moved in sink, he pulled me closer so we were hip against hip. We pulled apart and caught our breath when I heard,

"CANNONBALL!!" followed by a huge splash next to us, Grace came up a second later

"Where did you even come from?" I asked and brushed my wet hair away from my face

"I flew up on a tree and did a cannonball in," She said with a smile on her face, suddenly I remembered something.

"While we're sharing secrets," I said to Henry "where's Misty?" he looked at me confused for a second as if trying to through me off, I sighed,

"Okay so when I found you guys in the forest, lost, at first I just watched from the bushes and I saw Misty" I confessed, "So, where is she?"

"First of all" He started "That's kinda weird..."

"Well, I just heard talking and went to investigate and felt kinda awkward until Karla convinced me to go talk to you!"

"Who's Karla?" Rebecca asked as she swam on her back past us "There was no one else with you when you found us"

"Oh, Um it's kinda hard to explain..." I thought for a moment then said "So we all have kind of like a voice and it belongs to our supernatural parts. For example, Nikky is my wolf, without her I wouldn't be able to shift into my wolf."

"But isn't there those rare people who don't have that but can still shift?" Aiden asked as he stood on the bank of the lake.

"Now you're just complicating things," I said,

"you said that you're a hybrid and that you're basically everything, so which part of you is Karla?" Henry asked

"Karla is my Dragon," I said

'You bet I am!' Karla said and I laughed,

"What?" Henry asked

"No, after I said Karla was my dragon she shouted you bet I am!" I said and We laughed. for the rest of the afternoon, we all swam and played in the lake until someone ran up to the edge of the lake and called for me, Jacob and Zack. It was Kaleb, Jason's Beta and he looked worried. When we got to him he asked if we could move a little away from the others, he must still think Henry and Rebecca still don't know yet. We moved away a bit and before he said anything I said,

"We told Henry and Rebecca" he seamed to relax slightly "What is it?"

"Alpha Jason and Luna Molly are missing"
