*chirp* *chirp* *chirp*
I was disturbed in my sleep. I hear footsteps getting nearer and nearer. Those are fine, gentle and soft steps. The door creaked open. Wait, what? The door? I don't remember us having a door in the living room especially near the couch, unless. . . my brother put up a door last night here while I was asleep, but that's quite impossible because for sure I will be awaken by the tiniest sound it'll make or even to the faintest sound of a coin that fell near me when I'm asleep. Well you could say I sleep as light as a chicken.
Someone's humming.
It was a familiar tune.
Since when did Drake learned to hum that song? It's so soothing and relaxing and . . . oldish? Like an 80's kind of song?
WEIRD.
"Rise and shine, honey~" someone said through my hazy state with a high pitch voice, my eyes still closed. I tried to open an eye but I was blinded by the light that I groaned. I quickly turned over with my stomach lying on the foam of the couch, too sleepy to even answer his call. I feel so tired I was too emotional last night that I felt so drain right now. I don't to get up. I want to sleep all day.
I heard him clicked his tongue, "Last call, honey, wake up. We're going out. Get out of the bed before I run out of patience." My eyes popped wide open. Oooh shit! That's not him, that's not Drake, it's mom! DAMN!
"MOOOOM!"
I sprang out from my bed and I wasn't able to stop myself from yelling.
I saw my mom jumped in shock she quickly look my way with her hands on her waist.
"What's wrong with you young lady?! Why are you yelling so early in the morning? You scared the hell out of me, you know!" She said in a little bit mad tone.
I was puzzled. I remember clearly that I was with Drake last night watching movies and then in the middle of the third movie I felt sleepy and I slept in his arms. And then next thing I'll find out is that I'm already here in my room, in my bed, sleeping soundly. What the fudge happened? Where is Drake? Did she met with my mom and then she scolded him and shooed him?
"I said what's wrong with you, young lady?" my mom repeated.
"How did I get in here?" I was puzzled, my eyebrows are already joining together and forming a Vshape because of too much thinking trying to remember what exactly happened last night.
"Where's . . ."
O.O
Oooops, I forgot. I've forgot that mom doesn't know about Drake and me. She only knew that Drake and I are just friends. She doesn't have a clue that we are so in love with each other now.
"What do you mean by how did you get in here? Ah ! Let me guess you crawled your way till here, no?" she answered with a sarcastic voice.
"Too early to ruin my day, mom." I grunt.
"Blaah . . . Blaah . . . Blaah. . . get up! Up, up you go!" she pulled me by the arms and forced me to stand up.
I groaned again.
"Go and take bath now I want you all fresh and clean. You understand young lady? And make it swift while I'm still in the mood being nice to you little miss." Mom's so easy to change her mood look at her now she's wearing her poker face that fast.
~~~
The sun is blinding. The wind is blowing. What a day to go shopping. I'm not even up for it, I'm not in the mood. Now I regret wearing a white sleeveless hoodie and a navy blue denim shorts, I can feel people staring at me. Good thing I decided to wear my black snickers today because for sure my mom will drag me everywhere, visiting every stall in this mall.
