Sara felt very weary after a very long night.
She had worked very hard and her body was protesting vehemently.
Sara did not mind. The payment was fantastic!.
If she was to put in that type of work every night, she would be a very rich woman.

Looking at her phone, she realised that she had missed two calls.
One was from Marina.
Promising herself to check her answering machine in a few minutes, Sara angled towards the bathroom.
"So much to do in such a little space of time." she whispered.

A gold embossed invitation had arrived, inviting her to dinner at The Hartland's mansion.
Sara readily accepted via a phone call.
For years she had been treated like a valued member of the Hartland family. She felt acknowledged and accepted, but not forgiving!
Geraldo had easily silenced her desires and for this, his family would pay a huge price.

Abducting Serena from right below Marina's nose was a feather in Sara's cap. No one would have ever suspected that Marina's best friend was really a very close friend of Isabella.
The trick at the restaurant and bar, was the icing on the cake.
Sara and Isabella had planned to be at that destination, hence the reason for Sara's suggestion that night.

Poor Tommy! He never had a clue and Marina had been too traumatised to notice anything amiss.

Her marriage to Tommy was null and void from the beginning.
Poor Tommy, who never had anything. Living at the whim of his mom, at their employer's home.
"Did he really believe that Isabella was in love with him?"
Sara snickered.

Sara was tired of pretending to be Marina's best friend, when all she wanted to do, was punch her in the face, for stealing Geraldo.  The sizeable payments from Isabella, kept her anger in check.

Sara felt no repulsion whatsoever.
Marina deserved every ounce of it, she thought.
Laughing loudly "Sara retorted
"Marina would not recognise her own face in the mirror, if she saw it!" Surmising, she felt proud of herself. "Thank goodness I thought about the tattoo!" Sara said to herself.

Turning to her answering machine, Sara pressed the button and listened intently.
One was Marina asking to meet for tea, later in the day.
"Sure, why not?" Sara snickered.
The other message caused her to stiffen slightly.
It was Isabella. Just two words.
"Mission accomplished!"
"Yes!" Sara shouted, sending a fist into the air.
The doors of opportunity were opening like magic.
Giggling, Sara began to dress.

At first she had felt saddened over the death of her secret lover.
"If only he had done what he was told!" He would have been alive to enjoy this victory with me, lamented Sara.
Ronald's instructions were to tamper with the brakes of Geraldo's car, but greed and stubborness had gotten the better of him. Ronald had served a jail sentence for five years. He foolishly thought thathis release from prison had meant doing as he very well pleased.

Shrugging the memories away,
Sara whispered to herself "Let bygones, be bygones!"
"Two for the price of one! Not bad at all!" Sara quipped.

Sara had a few errands to run before meeting Marina.
"I'd better hurry, can't keep the beautiful Marina waiting." she mocked, imitating Geraldo's voice.
