Just By Being You

Part 2

The next morning the girls were all gathered in the gym and try outs began near the end of the try outs the football players filed in and Bucky said "Steve is that Presley next to Nat?"

"Yup the girls apparently convinced her to finally try out again. Presley was a cheerleader in elementary school but after her parents divorce and a bad try out in the 6th grade Presley started to hide herself away." Steve said 

Nat said "ok ladies we are going to have some fun now that the tryouts are over if you are a new girl and you are still here that means you made the team. Now Wanda is passing out blind folds you are to tie them on. No one is allowed to leave till the song is over understand that means you to Presley." 

"What is she doing Steve." Bucky said 

"Oh right guys if you have a girlfriend that is on the squad once the song starts you are to go up behind her and start dancing with her. Bucky I've been instructed by Nat that you are to dance with Presley." Steve whispered to the guys

"Steve she's going to freak out once she knows it's me." Bucky said

"Yeah the girls are not allowed to remove the blind fold till the song is over." Steve said 

Nat turned on the song "Down On Me" By Jermih and the girls had to start dancing and Presley was nervous to know what Nat was up to. The song was up loud enough to keep the noise of the boys who were still in football pants and cleets walking up to the girls. Bucky let out a breathe and walked over to Presley and whispered "Don't move just breathe." and Presley knew what Nat was up to then. She kept dancing but tears were falling and Steve saw them when he wanted to make sure Presley was ok. He leaned down in Nat's ear and said "Your plan is backfiring sweetheart." 

"What do you mean?" she whispered

"Your sister has tears." Steve said 

Once Presley realized the song was over she threw her blindfold down and went running out the door and sat outside on the sidewalk and cried. Bucky came out side and said "Presley.."

"Did you tell Nat to do that so you could be close to me." Presley asked him

"No I had no idea that Nat was going to do that..I didn't know anything about that till Steve told us what we were suppose to do and I was told that Nat said she wanted me to dance with you."  Bucky said 

She started to cry and went back inside and started slamming her stuff in her bag and Nat came over and said "Presley I was just trying to have some fun with you."

"You think it's fun to embarrass me like that Nat..you are suppose to be my best friend. I'm not like you or Wanda or Carol or any other girl. I have never had a boyfriend or a first kiss hell I"m still a virgin Nat.." Presley yelled at her. 

Wanda came over to her and hugged her and said "Hey Wanda do you think you and Clint can take me home." 

"Yeah come on." Wanda said 

Presley had no idea that Bucky had heard what she yelled at Nat and he walked over to her and Steve and said "Seriously guys I don't need help getting with a girl if that's what this was suppose to be..she thought it was me that made this whole plan up she thought I did it so I could be close to her. I like her because she doesn't have to try and impress me I find her beautiful all on her own and you all probably just ruined any fucking chance I could of had with her." 

Natalia heard him go off on Steve and Nat. Bucky picked up his football gear and left with Rhodey. When Natasha got home she went to apologize to Presley but she had locked her bathroom door and she could hear her crying. Joe Presley's dad went into his room and said "Presley honey I understand you were hurt today but Natalia told me something about what happened after you left."
