Part 11

Summer vacation started Presley packed up two big suitcases and put them on the back of her 4 wheeler and drove up to the house. Bucky came out on the porch and said "Baby you do know that all you had to do was tell me and I could of had mom come get your stuff."

"It's fine baby I did it." she said 

He carried her stuff in and he said "Mom wants us to go with her to the grocery store..and then I have to tell you something." 

"Ok." she said

He leaned against the counter of the kitchen and said "Um you might be here by yourself during the day."

"Ok...why?" she said 

"Cause my dad wants me to work with him at the shop during the day so I can have money so um I didn't know that he was going to make me do that when I asked you to stay with me..but it's not like you won't have something to do. Cause it's summer you can float around the pool my dad fixed it up for you and you can have the girls over if you want I don't mind. If you need to go somewhere you will have to let my mom know ahead of time." Bucky said 

"oh." she said 

"Baby...i'm sorry." he said 

"Um ok well let's just go to the store ok." she said fighting tears 

She was so excited to spend all summer with Bucky now that was ruined. Bucky said "Baby please don't get upset." 

"It's fine Buck.." she said as she sniffled. 

They got on his 4 wheeler and headed back down the road to his mom's house and went to the grocery store. Presley was quiet the whole time and just picked out what she wanted when Winnie asked. When they got back she drove Bucky's 4 wheeler and he rode with his mom to bring the groceries up.

"Buck is she ok? I thought she would be excited about spending summer vacation here." Winnie said 

"She was till I had to tell her she would be by herself a lot." Bucky said 

"Oh." Winnie said

"She cried mom and all I could do was let her cry it wasn't my fault I didn't ask dad to ruin summer with her." Bucky said

"I know sweetheart." Winnie said as they pulled in

When they walked in Presley was upstairs and they could hear her crying. Winnie said "I've got the groceries you go to her sweetheart." 

Bucky went in and found her curled up in a ball crying and it broke his heart what was suppose to be a fun summer just the two of them had turned into a mess. He laid beside her and rolled her towards him and said "I'm sorry baby I didn't ask for him to do this." 

She just kept crying and he held her. Winnie was downstairs putting the groceries away when James walked in and said"Where's Bucky we need to go." 

"he's upstairs comforting his girlfriend because he had asked her to stay here with him all summer and now he had tell her that she would be by herself till night time cause he has to go to work with you." Winnie said 

"Well the boy needs a job and he can't work once football season starts and if he wants to take his girlfriend out on dates then he needs money." James said 

"BUCKY!!! TIME TO GO!!!" James yelled up the stairs 

Bucky let go of Presley and kissed her and said "I will be back I promise." 

He got down stairs and said "Then lets fucking go then dad." 

"Bucky I don't need attitude." James said
